I have been trying to retrieve a Christmas gift that was shipped internationally and delivered to my work mailbox my work mailbox key opens a box for a different store in my complex, so I cannot access our specific box. I have made many attempts to put in a request to have it redelivered with no luck or response from USPS. Luckily as I was leaving today, I was able to catch the mail carrier, Abigail, who was kind enough to open the box and after checking my ID, was able to give me the gift that had been sitting in the box since late January. Abigail went above and beyond to give excellent customer service and did more in about 3 minutes than the USPS has done in 3 months. Please recognize her for her efforts.
Why is this the only location that doesn’t open sooner! They decided not to deliver my package on my day off and waited til the next day, only to leave a note and not deliver because no one was home! Just leave the package at my fenced in door so I don’t have to go out of my way to get a simple delivery!
First time writing a Google review! USPS is terrible. Scheduled redelivery that never showed up on the day scheduled. Hours at this location do not allow for pick up without taking time off work. No human interaction in phone conversation and the computer system is close to useless. Thanks and God bless.
To the nice guy and other folks who helped me today, THANK YOU!!nThanks to my lack of research and judgement, I went to the wrong USPS. They had just closed but as they were walking out of the building at the end of their shift on a very hot day offered to help me and gave me the address to the right post office.nThank you for helping me even though you didn’t have too!
This location decided not to be open 24 hours a day anymore and respectfully, I understand their reasoning. However, it makes it hard for people whom work after 6:00pm or later to be able to get their mail and if you don’t pick it up right away, they’ll return it. I’ve had crucial mail returned multiple times when just received. That is not right or fair. Why are we paying for mailing services for them to just return the mail immediately if a box is full? Why can’t they be open until 7:00pm or later during the week or later than 2:00 on Saturday or be open on Sunday? I spoke with Kelly and he told me “they will not be changing anything” and pretty much told me to go somewhere else. Very poor and rude service. He admitted losing a lot of customers due to this but clearly doesn’t care to change. The professionalism is horrible and I do not appreciate being spoken to like he did to me.
