I had purchased a set of jerseys for a men’s soccer team about a year ago. When I first recieved the jerseys, there were some defects that were corrected right away with replacement jerseys, however the defects were still there, but better than the first yet. We played one season in the jerseys purchased from United Cycle and we noticed that the numbers started to flake on both sets as well as the shorts. The solution offered was to re-press the numbers to seal them and prevent further flaking or purchase new numbers and have them applied. Initially, they had informed me that new numbers would be pressed on, covering the old ones. However, once dropped off, they informed me that the numbers on the jerseys had warped in shape due to washing and drying. I’ve never seen an issue like that, I would think that because the numbers are flaking, that probably contributed to the numbers being warped, but I guess their explanation is plausible.nnThe issues with the numbers started 2 months after picking up the order. I’ve ordered team uniforms many times in the past from another company and those jerseys are still in very good condition today, I went with United Cycle because they were able to supply Adidas. I would be very wary of their team sales and if on the chance this is a one off problem, I’d expect it to be corrected. I’m not quite sure if it was an issue with the jerseys, the numbers, or the crests. But everything is flaking or cracked after 18 games over a 6 month period. I would not recommend any team uniforms from United Cycle as they didn’t even last a season. They have called it wear and tear, check out the pictures and see what you think before making an order.nnIf it was a few of the jerseys, I could understand but 45/46 jerseys have the same issue. That’s crazy.
Update: The salesman is named Henry. I highly recommend him, he is so kind and helpful.nnIn the hunt for a new bicycle for my daughter, we showed up at United and were promptly greeted by a tall and very friendly man. I’m so sorry that I didn’t get your name but you were so kind and attentive to my daughter in her search for a bike. After searching several different locations, a week later we ended up at United again as my daughter had decided she wanted the Trek. We returned and were greeted very quickly by Mia, who was amazing and extremely knowledgeable. When Mia was going to check on stock for the bike my daughter wanted, the same tall, kind man approached to help us again, but said we were in excellent hands when he found that Mia had approached us first. Long story short, the service at United is extremely knowledgeable, attentive and friendly. So much so that not only did we buy a bike for our daughter but my wife walked out with her own mountain bike and will be back to buy a road bike next season.nnThe buying experience was quick and easy, plus the quality of service was over the top. Thank you so much United and we will be back. Btw, the tall man said that Mia trained him, so hopefully the management at United knows who this is and can recognize both he and Mia for the amazing experience.
My wife and I recently purchased 2 new e-bikes that when delivered to us were not properly PDI'd see pic of headlight and the upgraded seat wasn't installed or even with the bikes when they were both dropped off. When I asked the driver if he was the one to walk us through using the bikes he stated he only started 3 days ago and said it wasn't his responsibility.nSo we sent both bikes back to the store and will see what they plan to do to make this right or we will return them and go to another dealer. Since this was the third bike purchase from United Cycle in over 20 years we were disappointed to see the new state of their customer service.nnWell, talk about customer service! Once I posted my review United Cycle contacted me and I want to thank Kelly, Rob, and Jessie for exceeding our expectations in all areas. Both bikes have been received and are perfect in every way, my wife and I could not be happier with our purchase and highly recommend United Cycle.
Ryan in the Goalie Loft is fantastic! Spent an hour fitting me for my pads, tried 4 or 5 different options. Ryan is a goalie himself and knows his stuff. Excellent experience. Way more of a personal touch than that other place in South Common. Thanks again!
Awesome store, not just for bikes! All sorts of sports stuff. Great service and awesome staff. Their parts and service department keeps my bike running all year. Henry helped me get set up with a great deal on an exercise bike!
