Great food and excellent quality for the price. The fries were a pleasant surprise since they really tasted homemade and were not overly greasy yet would’ve benefited from a little more seasoning. There were no salt and pepper shakers to adjust seasoning to taste. The waiter was very friendly and helpful. The roasted mushroom beef burger was delicious and the herbed spinach salad was fresh and tasty. I ordered extra avocado and the rare seared big eye ahi tuna as an added protein with my salad. The tuna was a great addition and worth the extra charge. For dessert, the waiter recommended the fresh baked chocolate chunk soft cookies with ice cream and caramel drizzle which we enjoyed very much. We also tried the shrimp tacos entrée which we devoured before even having a chance to snap a picture. However, we waited a fair bit of time before getting our plates and the terrace is nice but it’s located in a very busy area with lots of traffic.
Burger was OK. We ordered four and one of them was overdone. The fish and chip is generously portioned, nice crisply fried and very tasty with the sauce. Coffee was more like brown water. Great serving staff. Nice clean and good distancing between seated guests. OK place to do lunch if in the area.
Went here with staff at work for a lunch. Patio is nice, tad noisy but it is not the restaurant's fault, it is ST. CLAIR street, busy as it can get. Waitress was nice to show us to our table, but the service was so slow. We kept waiting and waiting for ppl to take orders for food n drink, and then get those drinks n food. I ordered the veggie burger to which i specifically asked if the patty was house made and wat it was made of. I was told beans, but it was soy based, not house made, and I had to leave the patty uneaten. I had a burger of tomatoes, onion, a chunky slice of pickle, and hardly any lettuce. It was not the only veg option, so if I was told while I was ordering, I could have ordered something else. But it was over 2 hrs by the time i could point this out to someone and I did not want to wait around to get something else.
Went for lunch, and it's a great space. Our food took quite a while, but at least the wait staff acknowledged it. The fish and chips were pretty good. Large portion, plenty of fries. A friend had the pasta, which was a new item on the menu. Was sad. 6 ravioli on this giant bowl. New menu, so guess there adjusting.Food: 3/5
Fantastic!!! We went to our first company lunch in two years and we had a great time. They gave us a table at the back away from the rest of the dining room and the server was absolutely amazing; attentive, kind and friendly. The food and drinks were delicious and we all really enjoyed ourselves. The manager of the place who booked our reservation was also lovely. We will definitely be back for more company outings!
There was a mixup with our takeout order and Linton the manager that evening went above and beyond to correct the issue. I also ordered the tuna bowl and key lime dessert and they’re both delicious. Will definitely be back!
This review will focus on 2 things: service and food. I arrived as part of a large group and when the server arrived they took part of the tables drink order which happened to be all waters. But before I could give my drink order the server assumed that the entire table was having the same thing and left. When they returned, they took the drink menu, further limiting ordering options. I also ordered the ace high club. I did so because it reminded me of a similar sandwich I used to get at Milestones. Both sandwiches are turkey, bacon, lettuce, tomato on a cranberry bread The key difference is that that sandwich came with real turkey breast pieces and this sandwich, which cost nearly $20, came with what I can only describe as a wad of deli turkey. Not what I expect for the price. Also, the mayo and the cranberry bread were competing flavours and created an odd taste in mouth. Would I order this again? Probably not. Do I think that this should be priced different? Yes, more like a $12-14 plate. Vegetarian options: Veggie burger, appetizers
I just had a terrible experience at this location. I have had a very stressful week and today was my day to relax. I met up with my friend and we had a plan of getting massages and then going out to eat. After the fabulous massage we decided to come to this spot. We have been to this restaurant before but it was the other location and the experience was always good. Before we went in we purchased a canned non alcohol beverage. We wanted to pour some of the juice in our glasses with ice and then we were harassed by this waitress. She was blonde , European and very rude. She came up to us and accused us of having illegal things in our purse. We had already ordered food and started questioning our character. She called for the manager and the manager nicely said we could finish our juice outside and then come back in to eat. As soon as we came back in the blonde woman refused to serve us even though the manager said it was fine. The manager then came back and changed her story completely and said we had to leave. I understand if we couldn't drink the juice at the table, but questioning what's in our bags and making it seem like we're doing illegal activity is ridiculous. The attitude and accusations have ruined my night and I will never eat here again. I don't know if this is a race thing because me and my friend are of color, but it's black history month.
Our server *Guy did a great job in taking care of us . Prices were on par with area I was kinda disappointed that the turkey meat in club was shaved deli meat for 22$ but the starters were delicious. I had the Candy Chicken salad and I enjoyed it.
For a pub i was surprised with the taste and quality of the food and quality of the service. I had heard good things about the restaurant and I wasn’t disappointed. Mehul served and took care of us, he made amazing recommendations and was very sweet and attentive. The price of the food is a little higher compared other pubs but it’s definitely worth it!
