All the staff were very polite and friendly. The staff was very engaged and checked regularly. The food was excellent: I had the stuffed haddock and I heard very good things about the steak and lobster. The raspberry and blueberry pies were also very good. Very clean and well spaced dining rooms. Even though the rooms were packed, I had no problem hearing everyone at the table. I would go here again.
Incredible. Such amazing food. The sites are also beautiful. A great view with great food. A large menu of super delicious food. Totally worth the cost. The desserts were also amazing. The Blueberry Pie is to die for! They cook the lobsters and fish in such a special way its delicious. Service was amazing. Colby was so kind, cheerful, and helpful. He deserves a raise! Such a great person and really made it a great experience. Vegetarian options: Didn't see any on the menu. Lots of fish though. Parking: Ample parking.
The absolute MVP of the night was the guy outside boiling lobster. While we were waiting for our table we sat in the chairs that are right outside the door while you wait and it was an awesome experience. The guy put on an absolute show for us and showed us the difference in sizes and characteristics of each lobster This guy may have been manning the boiler but he absolutely stole the whole show. The wait was long but we had so much fun waiting and it made us super confident in our dinner and experience. Thank you for making the night special for the several families out there tonight! Above all else this setup is authentic and nothing like we’ve experienced anywhere else in Maine. There was also a Tiki Bar outside by the river to drink while you waited for your table. Food was great! Went with the lobster Mac and the drinks were on point. Everything my table got was great. Perfect experience and really delicious food. If you are in this part of Maine, come check it out. Worth the drive from Bar Harbor, in my opinion! Quick FYI: Not dog friendly, including outdoors. There’s a lot of ducks in the area, so I get it.
On vacation from Ohio 1st time having a fresh Maine lobster dinner. This place was Fabulous !!! Such a great experience. While we waited for our table we watched the guy who did all the cooking of the lobsters. What a system he had it down to a T. Our food was delicious including a piece of Blueberry pie. Jen was our server & did not mind us asking her a ton of questions. She was a delight !
My wife and I were in town for 5 days and came here twice it was so good! We celebrated my birthday with a slice of blueberry pie and all kinds of lobster! We had the cheese curds, poutine, lobster roll, and just plain lobster. All fantastic. All so good we would have it again and again if we could!!
Brian and crew were absolutely fantastic, and we enjoyed a wonderful evening! The baked salmon with blueberry chutney was excellent, and the lemon vinaigrette for our salad was fresh and light, perfect summertime fare. Finished off with their cookie sundae, and it was a perfect night out. Highly recommend! Absolutely worth the wait, which is beautiful with their river views. Will be back when we visit Maine again, for sure!
Very nice and clean restaurant with great food and atmosphere. Dining is indoors or by the creek. Lobsters are steamed outside, lobster pot dinner and lobster rolls are recommended. Wide selection of local beers and flight of 4 available for $9. The place does get busy at dinner time so expect a wait and a longer than normal wait for food.
The area was a nice waiting section with corn hole. But, what delicious food!!! The family enjoyed lobster and snow crabs. The cedar plank salmon and sea scallops were amazing. We would recommend that you pack big spray in case you eat outside. We became the meal for them!!
Best broiled scallops I have ever had! My husband had the lobster pot and said it beat out the other lobsters in flavor that he has had. Our kids were happy, too!! Run, don’t walk to this place. Indoor and outdoor seating. You won’t regret going. Oh, and did I mention they have pies?!? Yum!
Had the lobster dinner, lobster roll, blueberry pie a la mode and the local red ale. Everything was so good - the lobster was fresh , sweet and perfectly cooked. The ale was great . The pie was One of the best blueberry pies I’ve ever had! Great friendly service too :
