I have wanted to try this place for a long time and I finally got the chance tonight. First of all, I LOVED the feel of the restaurant- the decor, the ambiance, and the paintings of local Ogden scenery and buildings. My husband especially appreciated the decor having grown up in the area. I got the Filet Mignon and scampi special and my husband got the beef medallions. Both meals were massive portions- we definitely got our money’s worth. The meat was tender and delicious. We both really enjoyed our meals, and I surprisingly even really enjoyed the vegetable medley of squash and Brussels sprouts. We ended the meal with the best bread pudding I’ve ever had- it tasted like it was made in a Dutch oven and it was moist and delicious and largely portioned. We are definitely going home full. Our waiter was Graham, and he was very attentive and personable and quick to offer helpful suggestions. It was overall a wonderful experience. It was more expensive but definitely worth it!
Had a nice Alaskan Salmon meal. Very moist with a dill sauce. Came with baby red potatoes which were delicious. Also some cooked veggies. Also had a nice turkey sandwich. A pasta salad was included. Ambiance is great with old photos of Ogden, as well as some nice steampunk light fixtures.
I had the Salmon BLT, I actually loved the salmon more on its own then ate the rest as the BLT the pasta was amazing! My friend had the French dip and loved it! Our meals were reasonable hers was 9.99 lunch special, mine was about 14$ we had onion rings they are good the batter is a bit thick. Definitely a must try if your in the area.
Nice place. Clean, industrial chik style. Service was good as was the food. Prices were pretty normal for this type of restaurant. I had the lemon garlic chicken, my wife had the alaskan salmon. Both were tasty. Serving sizes were good. Nice place, we'll go back again.
Tried the Union Grill recently and was pleased with this choice! Got myself the Deluxe Grilled Chicken sandwich and if you like green chilis, I recommend it! Also had the union rings as an appetizer and they were some of the tastier rings I’ve had that I can remember! Nice thick breading on them and served with ranch on the side. The restaurant had lots of train themed decorations which was appropriate as Ogden is a railroad town and then light fixtures and ambiance fit the vibe of an early 1900s bar.
Everything about this food was amazing. The beef medallion was tender and seasoned well. The wings was an appetizer and was very crispy. The Italian pizza was cheesy. I totally recommend coming here, its an ideal date night restaurant.
Wonderful establishment. Oddly enough, I've only eaten in the basement. The first time was for a reunification seminar for recently-returned airmen hosted by the chaplain's office at Hill AFB. Fast forward, I needed a place to host my husband's retirement ceremony. The museum was not scheduling due to COVID and I needed somewhere where I didn't have to do anything because of a bad foot and mobility issues. This crew saved the day. Staffing shortages predicted I may have to do a buffet, but I really wanted a plated lunch and Angelica Sorry, was it Angelina? made it happen. We had three servers for about 65 people. Truly, it was nice to just sit there and let them do it. The restaurant has a lift the basement for those who are concerned with ADA accessibility. There are restrooms and a bar down there as well. They provided all of the white linens. I brought a navy table cloth for a display. I just got the flowers from Costco and the balloons from Ballooney Bin and it was perfection!
They forgot what soup I ordered and never brought my dessert to me. I really wanted to try the bread pudding but it never came. I liked what I ate but the service could have been better.Food: 5/5
Pretty great restaurant. Overall everything was good, the host was nice, the rustic venue is cool, the location is pretty decent, and our server was good; thanks Emily! We had water the entire time, our appetizer came out well before our food, we had our orders in-in good timing all while our server was balancing 3 other tables. The food was good but not amazing. My medallions had excellent flavor, in fact, you could really taste the flavors described but were a bit chewy. I ordered medium rare but most of it was medium with the end pieces being medium well on one side and medium rare on the other. The schnitzel was tender, needs a little bit more mustard served with it seeing as that’s the source of most the flavor. One of the schnitzels ordered came with a lemon and another did not but overall me and my party had a good experience and will continue coming. I would recommend this place to anyone in the area that has not tried it already.
Really good food! Fun atmosphere! My husband had a burger with sweet potato fries and I had a sandwich with a side salad and the house dressing. Both were prepared as expected and tasted great!
