UNH Computer Store

If I could give this store a zero star rating I would. I bought a MacBook Pro laptop from this store before my freshman year. They offered an extended warranty and accidental damage coverage upon purchase. I was hesitant to spend the extra $ at the time so I declined the accidental damage coverage. A few months later, my computer got water damage and needed to be refurbished, so I went through the UNH Computer Store to refurbish my computer for ~ $800 rather than buying a new computer for $1000 under the sole guaranteed pretense that I would be able to purchase the accidental damage coverage after the refurbishing that the UNH Computer Store provided. After the computer was refurbished, the UNH Computer Store manager declined to issue the accidental damage warranty, they stated that they do not offer coverage on refurbished products. They perpetrated a slimy bait and switch fiasco. After contacting the warranty service directly, the warranty service stated that they absolutely extend coverage to refurbished products. UNH still declined to issue the coverage after I brought this to their attention. Point being, you should absolutely take your business elsewhere, you are much better off getting a computer directly through Apple or any other store. I am a proud UNH student but I am VERY dissatisfied with the quality of service that the UNH Computer Store practices.

It will take months before you even get an answer as to the situation with your computer, and once it is returned “fixed” something else will be broken. I got the 4 year insurance from the computer store and I’d rather pay $600 getting it fixed than ever take it back to this place

Service ok and everything seems resonably priced compared to going to other places. downside? they wont repair HP, they only repair Dell AND Apple
