Funny to find an all-out hipster restaurant in such a tiny town. Excellent service and excellent food. The lobster roll was good and the pesto fries were amazing. Winner of the night was the Mediterranean dish. Craft beer selection was good - loved the local Ahnapee IPA. The town is beautiful too and combined with this restaurant I'll find a reason to return.

My new favorite place!! I had the ribeye, my wife had the pulled pork, and we shared the pesto fried oysters. Unbelievable. Everything was amazing. Will be back again and again. The staff is absolutely fantastic.

Excellent food and beverage selection. The service was exemplary considering it was a busy summer Saturday evening. Kudos to both Gabe and Brad for their personal and professional customer service. We will definitely be back.

Superb dining experience! Excellent surf and turf, all prepared perfectly and presented in stellar fashion! A terrific meal and fun, yet cozy, upscale atmosphere that can rival any establishment in NY or across the country! Compliments to the chef and bar manager and owners for creating a truly unique and tasteful dining experience in this area! We love the ever-changing fresh fish menu and the work put into it! Our mermaid Moscow mules were mixed fabulous too! An overall great experience! We’ll definitely be back to this fabulous location! Vic S.

This place is a real gem. The menu was inspired and the food was amazing. 5 of us all had different entrees and I would have enjoyed any of the ones my friends ordered. The ambiance was casual but comfortable. Prices were fair and reasonable for an upscale restaurant. I will be returning and trying the other Skaliwags locations whenever I am back in the area!

Welcoming staff. Interesting ambiance along with a decent menu. Prices are not the cheapest which is typical of steak and seafood. The food was good and there was not wait to be seated. I must say I wasn't a huge fan of the barstools but if you want to give this place a try. The also have chairs with backrests so if desired you may be able to aquire one. Overall it was a pleasant experience for a dinner with the fiance.

Ellen was awesome and took great care of our group, and Chef Andy’s food was amazing! We were a group of 12 and there were no problems. If you want an exceptional experience, then eat here!

A-Maze-ing!!!! I ordered the filet and it was the BEST steak I have ever ordered. Everyone at my table was in love with their food: fried oysters for an appetizer. Lamb, pork chop, scallops, and the filet. All items were fabulous. Service was top notch. Wonderful.
