Uncle Sid’s Deli

I was working in the neighbourhood and I was craving a sandwich. Uncle Sid’s Deli was absolutely delicious! I ordered the Montreal Smoked Meat sandwich. Next time I’ll have to try their fries. It was a heaping amount of meat, mustard was tasty, and the pickle was crunchy. Highly recommend if you’re ever in the area! I’ll be coming back here until I’ve tried every item on the menu.

Absolutely delicious. Pastrami sandwich is always on point. Excellent sandwich. Montreal smoked meat also fantastic. Great neighbourhood restaurant. Remember Vena’s Roti. Great that this place is honouring the memory and quality. Well done and keep it up. I’m spreading the word…

It’s run by a chef with 30+ years of deli experience and that shows in the taste of the pastrami. Great little deli, sandwich is made fresh right before your eyes and delicious ingredients are used along with the meat which is prepared in house, authentically. Delicious.

As good as a deli gets. The gentlemen who own and operate the place are pros 30 years of experience including world famous Yitz’s deli. Some clown gave this place a 4 star review, this is as good as a deli gets and it’s simply delicious. If you don’t like this place you don’t like deli foods. I’ve been searching for an authentic Rueben sandwich ever since coming to Toronto recently, and I must say this one was very tasty and the top one so far. Almost 5 stars as the portion is a little small, but still very worth the price.

You might ask yourself "Bloor and Lansdowne for an authentic hand made knish and house made pastrami?" but don't seek answers for too long.... In 2023, the best "Jewish" deli food in T.O. is this small place. The lineage to Yitzs is tastable. Counter seating for maybe 4 people max, so get it to go.

Nice presentation of food with great quality and quantity. Beef pastrami, corn beef sandwiches are fantastic. I loved their beef barley soup. They have the best soup i have ever had. I highly recommend this place to give a taste.
