I was visiting Halifax as a guest; and happened to pray Jummah here. The mosque is very well kept, and tidy.nnIt has ample space and facilities that a community centre should have.nnI was also informed about iftars the mosque hosts during Ramadan; and also separately invited by someone I met there.nnProud to see a strong and hospitable Muslim community in Halifax.
I am extremely disappointed with my experience at this mosque. It was my first time coming, specifically to pray on the 27th night of Laylat al-Qadr, but no one greeted me, offered even a small gesture like water or dates, and all they were concerned about was selling tickets for iftar. I asked if I could just pray, since it was my first visit, but I was told there would be no meal for me. I stayed inside, hungry, waiting before the prayer, but I left without breaking my fast. It’s incredibly disappointing that a masjid like this would prioritize money over basic hospitality and respect. I will not be returning.
Peaceful place to attain namaz .nThey are 2 Jummah prayer so if you miss 1.30 you can attain 2.30.nnRemove the dirt of this duniya and make you remember of Allah and prophet sallallahu alaihi wasallam peace be upon him..nnWell cleaned and managed by mosque community
The mosque was kept clean, lot of good people, with wudu space, chairs and Quran were in abudent number. Imam were great at jumma do khutba and explains it and also food is available to purchase every jumma.
