Ukrainian Youth Unity Complex

Last month I held my wedding reception at UYUC. I couldn't be happier with not only the location but the staff as well. The interior is beautiful and the decorations were lovely, and all at a reasonable cost as well. The owner, Yuri, made everything move so smoothly for us. He was easy to get a hold of, gave us a number of helpful suggestions and things to think about. Additionally, he had a calming, easy-going influence on us that took what can be a stressful time and made it all feel like it was going to go perfectly. The rest of the staff as well, from the bartenders to the chefs, were also friendly and professional. Last but not least, the food was perfect! We received many compliments on the meal and we were both personally very happy with how everything tasted. We had a wonderful experience here and we can't recommend it enough.

We were here for a wedding and it was very nice. Nice washrooms and very clean.

Big a and nice hall with good catering on site if you need it. Lots of parking too.

This facility is a very nice community center. We attended a Fundraiser concert for the war in Ukraine. Martin Kerr provided a very talented performance.

If I could give this place a zero out of 5 stars I would ! Do not book with this hall . A man named Yuri is the most rudest most disrespectful individual I have ever met !! I tried calling to get my deposit for my wedding that not even till 2023 , and when we didn’t even sign an agreement contract with them . It was just to hold our spot . He then said to send them an email with my address to refund my deposit and I would be getting a cheque . Now over a month waiting I emailed and called and received nothing , I check my inbox to my surprise a rude response from this gentleman saying that I’m accusing him of being rude to him just to get a refund . When I called I had asked if they received my voicemail and emails which he was extremely rude and said that yes , and that I would have to deal with the president , in which he gave me no contact information to get a hold of her and then proceeded to hang up on me ! The amount of rudeness and disrespect is disgusting , again coming from the gentleman YURI. Don’t book here you will have nothing but rude service from him.

I attended a wedding at this hall. The staff was extremely courteous and went out of the way to help us with any problem we had. The hall looks very exquisite with pretty lights strung up around the main hall and polished wooden floors. They also prepared the food for our main course. There was no shortage of food, and all of it was delicous. All on all I would highly reccomend renting this facility for events such as: weddings, anniversaries, business functions etc.

Always great mouth watering Roast beef. Never had an issue with the food what so ever. I have been to this place many of times for weddings, dances, ect... True Ukrainian food! Yum yum in my tub.

Phil, Katrina, the servers, that bartenders and all the staff were spectacular - As busy as it can be putting on a wedding, they were all very conscientious about every detail. The food was something else!..They were accommodating as well as diligent about making sure everyone was happy and kept in line. Really we were so happy about how the day went, the memory of it only conjures up joyous thoughts - thank you from the bottom of our hearts! Guy and Karen Pelletier

Excellent place for a wedding. Our friends were married here today and it was quite an experience. A fantastic time. I would certainly look to rent this facility for a large Gathering or party in the future.

This hall is great, it looks good and the food was awesome. However, the manager Phil was HORRIBLE. He was rude and not accomdating, he paced back and forth in front of the head table at the wedding and he wore scruffy jeans and a shirt. He is not happy in his job obviously and that translates into POOR customer service.
