Today was my first visit to this wonderful cafe. The staff was very helpful and friendly. My lunch was amazing… spring rolls…yum! So many choices of hot and cold drinks and baked goods. I will most definitely be back!
Updated: My husband and I visited just before lunch time March 8th '21, the chai tea latte was perfect and we were given a choice of cinnamon sprinkled on top or nutmeg both of which were lovely. We also had a freshly baked cinnamon roll each and of the dozens I've tried, those were the freshest, just a pleasant amount of sweetness, and the portion size was just slightly more than I could manage generous! although I was tempted to finish it because it was so good! The staff was friendly and helpful and brought our drinks over to where we were seated when they were ready. The place was very clean including the restrooms and there were lovely items to look at with regards to the Emporium such as jewellery jewelry, clothing, handbags purses and other items which were available for purchase. We will definitely visit again... We have visited about five more times since early March '21 and the staff have been equally friendly, helpful, and efficient. We each tried the Maple Pecan latte which was delicious and you just can't beat those cinnamon rolls! Top marks

Oh, I don't want to make it any busier at the shop but I do want them to succeed! I had a fabulously yummy vanilla chai and a cranberry scone in store and brought cinnamon rolls back for a night snack. Lovely environment, great staff, delicious, delightful treats. Go there!
We took a slight detour on our way to Sydney to check out this cafe. We were not disappointed. Great service, delicious lattes and selection of hot and cold dishes. We chose the hot pastry things that looked like sausage rolls, yum! It has a really quirky vibe, mix of clientele, some social, some working on laptops in a really welcome environment. Loved the emporium, great gifts.
My favourite little local coffee shop! Great selection of delicious snacks & sweets. Coffee & drink selection is vast. Main reason I keep coming back: the staff. The friendliness & care that all staff members exhibit makes each visit great. Special mention to Sue, Kelly & Drew who truly go above & beyond.
The price of desserts was good but not for lunch. Great service as a casual cafe. Wonton soup was a house special. Served only on weekends. With a coffee + lunch + a dessert, it is about $25 per person.
We tried cinnamon rolls all over Nova Scotia the past couple of weeks and these were by far the best. The latte I ordered was excellent also. Well done!
Have been here a few times now in past few months. Just never thought to come here but now I’m hooked! Great staff and nice vibes, and boy the baked goods are delicious, the best scones and cinnamon rolls in CBRM!!!!
The service is incredible. The guy who works there is an excellent server, regardless of how busy they are he is always smiling and joking. The little blonde is just a sweetheart. It's pretty impressive to see the team work between them and always so pleasant. They have some of the best hot drinks. The London fog and apple pie fog are literally out of this world. My weekend go to to sit in and enjoy the laughter, drinks, staff and just the comfort of the atmosphere.
