DL's used to be great; great staff, coffee, snacks, just what you'd want from a coffee shop. Then the original owners moved, staff changed and everything went downhill. Most recently I stopped in with my family to have hot chocolate with my toddler and all three drinks we ordered were cold. I mentioned it to the staff who offered to remake mine and it was cold a second time. Unfortunately, this is the quality of preparation that I've experienced for a number of years now and have come to expect. As such, and as a result of this recent visit after not going for some time, I very likely won't return to this establishment.
Quiet and spacious spot with cozy feels and great coffee!
Got a hot chocolate that was cold and when I asked to heat it up they said they couldn't do it because they don't have a microwave. I'm still kind of confused by it lol like how did you get it lukewarm in the first place if you can't heat it up? Also there is a really bright LED billboard outside so if you have a hangover stay away or you will get a headache. Sorry to trash the local 5* cafe just being honest

I was in Sydney for business and this became my morning coffee/work spot. Great atmosphere, places to plug in key for working and the espresso was really great. I didn't try the food but it looked good. I'll definitely be heading back in when I return.

Coffee is excellent and Doktor Luke’s has a great atmosphere to enjoy your cup of coffee or chat with a friend.
we sauntered around the corner to see some interesting places here in Sydney, and so we found this cozy coffee shop. The interior is fantastic, but the most important thing : the coffee is really great - we had a Cappuccino and a Latte, both were superb and the staff was really friendly.
