Convenient indoor parkade just a 3-minute walk to UBC Health Sciences. Spacious, easy to pay by meter or app. Rates as of today — $1.25 per 15 min, $2.25 per 30 min, $13.5 for 3 hours, $18 for 4 hours and $20.25 for 4.5 hours.nCompetitive pricing for such a prime location.
Design of parkade is a bit confusing for me as a first time customer. There was lots of parking available at 0730 weekday, but I can see that it will fill up very quickly soon.
Best parking option if you’re taking a loved one to UBC Hospital or Emergency! It’s just a short 2-minute walk behind the hospital and super convenient. You can park all day until 12am for only $12 — such a money saver compared to other options nearby. No stress, no rush — just park and focus on what matters. Highly recommend!
The layout of this parkade is quite confusing, especially for first-time visitors. The signage could be clearer, as it’s easy to take a wrong turn or end up in an unexpected dead-end. Navigating through the levels can feel a bit disorganized, and finding the right exit sometimes takes more effort than it should.nnSecurity has been a concern in the past, as I’ve personally experienced two break-ins over the years. While I can't say whether security measures have improved significantly, it's something to be mindful of if you're leaving valuables in your vehicle. Surveillance cameras are present, but it's unclear how actively the facility is monitored.nnThat being said, I’ve been parking here for over a decade, and despite those issues, the parkade has been generally reliable. There’s usually a decent number of spots available, and I haven’t had major problems with access or functionality. If you’re familiar with the layout and take precautions, it serves its purpose as a convenient long-term parking option. However, for new visitors or those concerned about security, it may not be the most reassuring choice.
Stairs are poorly marked.nHad to stay overnight in the sleep clinic, but no option to park past 6am.nMy cards don't work in the machine, which rejects every third loonie.
