U.S. Bank Branch

2 years ago i deposited a $15 thousand dollar check to open account. I have a Alaska USA federal account for over thirty years now but thought living here might make it easier to have a account with a bank here in town and how wrong i was. They put a twelve day hold on that check and on the 5th day i was patiently waiting in the tellers line to see if my check had cleared. When all of a sudden the lady that opened my account got up out of her desk stormed over to me and with other people standing around to hear said look i told you the check wouldnt clear untill 5 business days wanting me to immeadiatly leave. I never spoke a word and left. 13 days later my check cleared i had a cashiers check made out and sent it all to my faithful friends at Alaska USA Federal. What that crabby rude and inappropriate lady at US Bank didnt know was i had other checks bigger than that coming in just a few weeks. I also got ahold of all my family and friends to tell them to avoid doing business with them. To my surprize more then just a few have closed thier accounts. There is simply no excuse ever for that kind of behavior.

They failed to disclose fees that were charged to my account, charged me for checks that they failed to actually have made or delivered, they placed limits on my account of how much money I was allowed to spend in a day, they told me different information every time I talked with the local branch or their corporate office, and they failed to be able to resolve any issues I presented to them in any way. I would recommend looking into literally any other financial institution besides this one.

When you open up your bank account through them there's one huge thing they don't tell you if you overdraft your bank even after you set up overdraft fee protection plan they don't tell you if you don't pay off your debt you get charged $25 per week they keep that out and make you figured that out by yourself
