I have no issues with the branch, as I live 45 minutes from my nearest location. Woe to anyone calling the 1 800 number. Annoying commercial voice and music. Average wait a half hour. My new debit card didn't work, which I found out the afternoon before my trip. I was frantic for help, sitting in a hot car in 104 degree heat. The automated system didn't work. It took nearly an hour before finding a person to help. Now I'm on hold for 20 minutes on another matter. I understand customer service is horrible everywhere now, but when it's about getting access to your own money it's unnerving.
After being a customer for so many years and pay off 5 loans. They denied a loan of $17,000 dollars even with my car down. I'm very disappointed. I decided to close my account and go somewhere else
Terrible customer service. I had fraudulent charges on my account. Fraud charges posted before end of business day. Fraud charges were not flagged. They allowed to go through. Very difficult to get money back. Rude customer service reps. This process was a lot easier in the past, but since Rivermark has grown the service is in the toilet. Thankfully we had savings to pull over.
Been a member since 2014 with a personal account and I've since added two business accounts and I couldn't be happier. From a car loan to easy navigation from the phone app, it's been wonderful. A recent email from the CEO regarding the IRS wanting access to everyone's personal business account was spot-on -- smaller, community banks will strain under such a burden to create and maintain an infrastructure for this type of reporting, it's prone to hacking, and the cost will be all of ours to bear. Us, as in regular folk. Accolades to the CEO and all the hard working employees at Rivermark CCU -- we appreciate you!
I tried to call and cancel my appointment to see a representative, which took 3 days to schedule, but I got stuck in automated phone hell. Sorry not-sorry I wasted an appointment slot today. Maybe if you trained one of the 4 tellers that are usually just standing sround, then I'd be able to open my 2nd account in a timely manner.
We have been members at Rivermark Credit Union for over 10 years. We have personal and business accounts. Have had great service in person, online and over the phone.
I have used them for my banking needs for about 3 years. I loved that my account debit card was given to me on spot while opening account. Online, drive thru, and in branch service has always been top notch. One time I had my wallet lost or had it stolen in Portland. I didn't even know it till the next day I received a call from the credit union letting me know that they believed my card was fraudulently used. There prompt service saved me a lot of trouble and am extremely grateful. Online banking and check deposit extremely useful.
My experience banking over many years banking with Rivermark has always been positive. I've never had any complaints. Service online as well as with personal contact with your agents has been flawless. Thanks for your very good service!
I can't say enough about Rivermark. I am glad that I am a member, they always treat you right. I love the convenience of the drive up teller kiosk although I did miss coming into the branch and speaking with a live person especially "Suzy". I found out that you could also do the same at the kiosk teller outside. The credit union is always thinking about its customers no matter what is happening in the area. Way to go Rivermark I will be a customer for life.
Hello! I have been banking at Rivermark for over 8 years in The Dalles OR, The bank did a merger of a some kind and name change 3-4 years ago, it has been my experience that this branch has gone downhill with service in the past few years. There are fewer tellers now, and seem to be new or inexperienced,,,, they are swamped. lines are always very long....expect 15-20 minutes to talk to anyone or longer. not exaggerating or joking- frustrated! The advertised hours saying open until 8? is actually a live teller on an ATM machine that cannot provide all of the functions that a actual real life person Bank Teller can . Yesterday I took of from work early to run some errands, stopped by the bank to try to get a cashiers check at 3pm... only to find the door locked and a sign that said they were having an employee meeting? closed for afternoon. similar to the signs hung on gas stations doors, only they usually say " Gone fishing " The bank does not open until 10 lobby, and actually closes at 5 not 8pm... and they can't find time to do an employee meeting outside of business hours? They post that they are open on Saturday's? must only be certain special Saturdays? ...every Saturday I have tried to do banking they have been closed? or maybe the Saturday " open " is the atm live teller? unreal. has to be some false advertising going on. The credit union I joined 8 years ago was awesome! This is not the same place anymore, if you want service, I recommend going elsewhere I appreciate your response to my post. I believe what you stated is not true. example= can a live teller issue a cashiers check? can a live teller review paperwork with you? ... the one that I spoke to could not. so I do not think a live teller can handle all of the same transactions as a lobby Teller.... I am sure there are more types of transactions other then a cashiers check that they are unable to complete for the customer. your response - "The live tellers are able to handle transactions the same as our lobby tellers" Again, we apologize for the service that you've received. We hope you'll stick with us and give us the chance to make it right. I believe to advertise the actual bank lobby hours, with a side note about the live teller being available after hours for most of your banking transaction needs would still promote and advertise your customer service availability with out confusing customers, I do not believe I am the only customer to have this experience. I understand all customers value extended hours, and having what you advertise 8-8 weekdays and Saturdays! - sounds too good to be true. and it is actually " live atm teller" available after lobby hours for most of your banking transactions.
