My card was invalidated due to me not receiving a replacement card, I explained the situation and the teller insisted repeatedly that the card I had in my possession was functioning properly. It was not, 3 agents and two hours later an agent confirmed what was wrong. I then had to drive to a different branch to get a temporary replacement, something not offered to me at this branch because after all, the invalid card I had should be "working fine". In total it took 5 agents and 3 hours for someone to listen to me and remedy the situation.
I'm not sure what's going on at this branch. I've visited this branch 3 times in the last 4 months - each time I am met with uninspired customer service and unexplainable wait times. This last visit I waited for 40 minutes for drive thru service... When it was my turn, I was changing out $80 cash for $80 in quarters... It took roughly 10 minutes to make this happen. Not sure what is happening behind the scenes. It feels like there could be ways to expedite a few processes with the drive thru servicing. I understand they want people to use mobile or online banking, but some aspects of banking are only possible in person. Hope to re-review in the future with higher stars due to better/more efficient services!
We Unfortunately do all our banking through this clown show of a bank. Their lobby closes at 4pm and the drive through is always backed up with at least ten cars as they have literal sloths running the window that have no sense of urgency. We attempted to withdrawal $7700 and they let us know they didn’t have enough cash on hand to allow for this and would only give us $5000. No one I know has ever had this issue at any other bank and were actually astounded that this happened to us. Are we in the Great Depression or something? It’s great to know all the money we have in savings and checking accounts really isn’t there as they don’t have the cash to back it. We will be switching banks as soon as possible. Great bank to bank with. Customer service is above great, and they are always happy to serve your. With friendly service and fast moving lines, makes you just want hang out in the lobby. Every time i go in, they remember your name, and welcome you with a friendly smile, and laughs, and kindness. Every associate is makes you feel like coming backs and doing business with them. They answer all your questions, and make you feel like family. Best Bank in Yakima in my book. Have a great 2020.
Took 1 hour and 15minutes to wait in line for a drive through Teller just for them to tell me their system was down and to deposit my money in the ATM. I attempted to deposit my money in their ATM and it spit my cash back out, shortening me $100. Which I then had to wait a half hour to speak to an 1800 representative who then told me it would be around 7-10 business days to get my money back. I tried to make an appointment just for them to tell me I couldn't make deposits of money unless I was opening a new account. Seriously, what does a person have to do to get some service in this bank!?
I have been with U S Bank for over 20 years, just this last week a Hotel ran my debit card for rooms that were being held for a school activity, this was in error. once this happened I called the Hotel to reverse the money back to my account, they said it has been reversed your bank just has to let it go, this happened last Wednesday and I was told my money would be back in my account by Friday by 8PM. Well I still do NOT have the money in my account! I am leaving this bank! Big banks have lost all ability to deal with people I don't know abut anyone else but to have almost $900.00 taken from my account leaves a mark. I will be leaving U S Bank and going to a more personable Credit Union, This U.S. Bank can't even answer their phone you have to call 2-3 times and maybe someone will answer if your are lucky - So done with the big box banks!
SLOW AS MOLASSES. Avoid this location at all costs, unless you have extra time to sit in their drive through for 30-45 minutes. Horrible service
Just sat half an hour with 2 cars in front of me, they were both helped and when I got to the window they closed it. I'm now going to have a late fee cause i wasn't able to pay my credit payment.
After waiting in the drive through I now know why this branch has such low rating. They should close this branch so people don't accidently get stuck in its line for hours. Added after response from Heather. Thanks for your response but many things like cash need to be handled at the branch, looking through previous reviews it is obvious the only thing you guys do with reviews is to comment on them and not implement actual fixes.
Very friendly staff, great location in down town. Sometimes there is a line but it moves quickly. They even have a drive thru with a live teller if you don't want to go in the lobby but transactions can take a while so if you need anything super fast best bet is the atm or online. With great customer service, free checking, and locations all over the place, you can't go wrong!
