U Paint I Fire

I had a wonderful experience at this place! John is incredibly kind and helpful, he memorized every person’s name and made sure that they all were comfortable and ready to paint. All the pieces there are made by him, there’s a good collection of ceramics from plates to mugs to baby yodas. You pay for the piece you choose but if you stay for more than 2 hours, there will be a small extra fee per hour. You have to come back after a week to pick up your painted piece. Also, make sure to call and reserve to find a stop to paint.

For all fans and of ceramic related activities, this place is a must. The service was excellent and the material provided comes in all shapes and colors. People don't judge your painting skills if you are good enough which makes for a good atmosphere. I definitely recommend this place for your next day out in Vancouver

Brilliant! John is a wonderful guy! Super friendly and helpful. Knowledgeable, creative and fun experience! I wish there was some kind of subscription so I could do this every week!! Very therapeutic. Good for calming your mind and not doing anything other than painting and figuring out what colour it will be after firing!. Can't wait to go and pick up our pieces tomorrow!

This place is truly something special. The experience my girlfriend and I had from start to finish exceeded my expectations. The owner, John, welcomed us in to paint ceramics. We were fortunate enough to have walked-in without an appointment on a not-so-busy day. John was very accommodating and such a gentleman with us. We had travelled far to visit his studio and it was great all around. I recommend you come to his studio and meet this great man. Thank you, John, for the experience. We are sure to return!

Great places for pottery painting. The owner is so friendly and helpful. He makes many of the figures himself that you cannot find anywhere else. Reservations are recommended as it's very popular. Your pieces are usually ready around 5 days for pickup.

Mostly great! One thing tho.Paint bottles were often empty or hard to find what i wanted. That could be better organized. Fun place and cute pottery though! I had fun painting and the owner let us sit on a table outside in the breezy shade

My bf and I had the best time, John is so personable and kind! We painted a bowl and mug and it was super reasonably priced, and so many colour options. Can’t wait to see what they look like, will be coming back soon ! Thanks John!

John has set up some wonderful outdoor seating for painting! Our group had an amazing time, everyone wore masks indoors which was great! We have been coming here for years, the selection of paintable items is amazing, and John is so so helpful! Can’t recommend this place more!

Went there with my boyfriend last week and we had a lot of fun!! John is amazing, always happy to answer whatever questions we had about ceramics and was very welcoming! Would go back again to paint more! :

The perfect rainy day activity in Vancouver! There’s tons of options for what to paint, including some really unique pieces, and John struck a great balance between being very helpful and friendly and also giving me and my friend space to chat and catch-up and paint together. Will def be back!
