U&I Thai

I am not hugely familiar with Thai food so when we arrived I was a bit hesitant. My reluctance was quickly remedied, however, as soon as we stepped in to this amazing restaurant. We were greeted immediately and seated at a comfy table. We ordered some appies and beverages straight away and they came out of the kitchen hot and extremely tasty. The spring rolls in particular were spectacular!!! Our entrees were excellent and delivered in record time...Jeremy (part owner of U and I Thai) approached us part way into our meal to introduce himself and offer up some history about this their third restaurant. I was very, very impressed. It's not every day one receives personalized service like this. If you're celebrating a special occasion or just looking for a great night out, U and I Thai is the place to be!!

Huge place! From the outside, doesn't look that big, but it's super spacious. The wonderful people serving were very kind and made full efforts to make sure we were enjoying our meal. And the food is really tasty too. Would definitely recommend this place for any occasion!

The moment we walked in, we were greeted and seated by their friendly host. Our server arrived moments after we sat down to take our drink order. When she came back, she made a recommendation for an appetizer. We ordered the chicken satay and veggie spring rolls. The appetizers were incredible. They were piping hot and so full of rich flavours. When our entrees arrived and my husband took his first bite of his Pad Thai, he literally rolled his eyes and said mmmm , this from someone who was not a fan of Thai food before. One of the owners (Jeremy) came to our table part way through our meal, to introduce himself, give us a bit of information about the restaurant and authenticity, and to thank us for coming in. I loved the personal touch! Not only was the food fantastic, but you really feel like your patronage is truly appreciated.

Have eaten here several times. The food has been excellent each time. Restaurant has friendly staff and atmosphere. Have had the curry duck, pad grapao, and the pad Thai. Would highly recommend any of those dishes.
