Made a reservation online. When we showed up 8 am for pickup they told me truck was not available. Had to send all the helpers home and schedule another day off work. Total waste of my time and energy, and on top of it, Caroline, the U Haul employee, insisted that this was somehow not their problem to resolve and they had done an excellent job taking care of me.

I reserved online because they were not able to answer the phone. At Check-in the clerk, a 20 something, was very agressive and rude. I told her this was the last time I would rent from this location...she then challenged me 3 times not to take the truck. Her manager was standing close by and I told her that her employee better change her attitude, she then ripped the contract up in front of my face and told me to get out...even though the contract was paid and completed. CONTROL FREAKS !!! DON T WASTE YOUR TIME AT THIS LOCATION.

Friendly service for a simple purchase, but it always seems to take a while at any U-haul location I go to because their contracts seem to take excessive amount of time to set up. For U-haul in general pre-booking and checking in helps but marginally. This is a corporate issue and nothing the staff on location can do about it. Many people get upset at U-haul locations but it has most often seemingly been due to the way corporate has implemented required procedures. That the staff maintain their composure as well as they do is a testament to their resilience as they navigate through inaccurate inventory updates in their systems, multiple layers of contract agreements and agitated customers.. smartphone enabled returns are complicated and clunky leading to confused returns with one wondering if they have been incorrectly processed. Fortunately you can submit pictures with your after hours returns however that likely leaves even more to be processed by an already overwhelmed staff.

We reserved few months earlier a truck for moving apartment, they told us by phone that everything was ok, we would have a truck reserved for this date, at these hours, at this place. They said that we have to do nothing more and they sent us the confirmation email. The day we were moving, when we arrived, they said that no truck had been reserved for us and we had to came to reserve it in person and the phones calls wasn't enough. Even if we showed them the email confirmation, they said that the reservation process wasn't complete. Even if that was a mistake, the employees did nothing to help us find another truck. We went across the street to discount were they found us a truck. Later that day, u-haul sent us a new confirmation email to get a truck in an other city (45 minutes from where we order it first) almost 6 or 7 hours later than the earlier reservation... Bad company, bad service, wrong information, i do not recommend it at all.
