We had the worst service at this location. The owners were rude and unhelpful and made a difficult day even more difficult than it needed to be.  I would never book a rental with the Castlegar U-haul.  In Nelson, this was the total opposite. Great service, friendly staff, and nice easy to find location.

Made us travel two hours burn gas, and require Uhaul to credit our mileage..........Go to the Good folks at Nelson not this creep.

AVOID THIS PLACE! Shittiest uhaul I've ever been to. Terrible service, extremely rude, wants to charge you more than he should and finds any reason to complain. Even if your truck is clean he will charge you for cleaning fees, he will find imaginary damage on the truck and charge you for that as well. You're better off renting from Nelson where they are way nicer.

Pick-up was fast and pleasant.  The road in and out can be a bit daunting in a large truck though.
