So disappointed…nI purchased a 10” digital day clock for my 92 yr old dad who has Alzheimer’s. The description indicated ‘used’ and ‘tested-turned on’. It’s true, it turned on when first plugged in… Monty even helped me change one of the settings. I brought it back to Ina Grafton just down the street from Binz wrapped up in the Styrofoam and box that it came in, and I plugged it in at dad’s apartment, and it worked again. When I finished with my visit, I checked the clock one more time, and there was a blank screen. It was too late to go back to the store, so I went back the next day to return it. Unfortunately, it was a used item, and it did work initially when it was plugged in…. it doesn’t matter that it only worked for an hour. Monty indicated that I broke it by putting something heavy on the screen or I pushed it in with my hands. I did neither of those things, why would I when I really needed this for my dad. I told him there’s probably a short in there or something, but he said no, I broke it and that’s that. I was not getting a refund. I said these items are ‘returns’, and they’ve been returned for a reason. So as ‘auction goers’, we need to remember that.nThe end result is, buyer beware, especially if it’s a used electronic item. Check your items thoroughly before you pay for it, or leave the store. I lost $26.
Dishonest online auction. BewarennBought a canopy tent from their auction. They claimed it was new in the box.nWhen I opened it, the canopy top was missing. And because it was past their 24 hr return window they wouldn’t do anything for me. They told me tough luck, even though they lied in the listing.nBought a lot from them for 2 years. Won’t be back again.
Amazing bin store! Neatly organized, clean with lots of bins. I honestly shop at least once a week. They also have a weekly auction.nnMo is great!! Always friendly and helpful.nnWeirdest thing I purchase was a bee keeper suit $11. Coolest thing was gold mining equipment $15. Best deal… So many to mention but I’d say a $79 pair of yoga pays for $3!!!
Very disappointing experience with Two Guys Auction.nI purchased 3 items that were all listed as brand new, but every item arrived used. One of the items was not even the correct product from the listing.nnThe listings were misleading and after shipping the items they stopped responding properly. I buy from auction sites regularly and this was one of the worst experiences I’ve had.nnBuyers should be careful and inspect listings closely before bidding.
4pm on a Thursday, door unlocked, store lights on. I walk in and browse for a couple of minutes and guy comes out from back room saying they are closed. Ok, why not lock the door? “We don’t have to, we have people in the store”. The excuse is their “open” sign was not lit, despite normal daytime hours, unlocked door and Google listing stating they are open.nnStrange. Not planning to return.
