Twin Fish Thai Cuisine

This was my second time visiting them, and for dinner again. Definitely not disappointed! Such a clean and elegant ambience combined with a lovely service. Food was top notch, not too spicy or sweet but quite well balanced in flavours. We tried the coconut and curry pumpkin soups plus the mango salad for apps. Main course included Thai Green Curry Veg extra spicy, Thai Basil Noodles Veg mild, Chiang Mai Noodles Chicken medium with Ginger Chicken medium. We ended our meal by sharing the Mango Sticky Rice amongst the 4 of us. So good! Tasted fresh and delicious. Special shout out to our server Joey for a friendly and prompt service. 3.5 stars We were promptly seated even without reservation. The dinning room were full, servers were busy. It took some time to get our appetizers. The soup and squid salad was good, a little peeve for me, they should have torn out the squid skin which was quite chewy. Otherwise, the flavor was good. The curry definitely hit the mark on taste, but I did prefer the traditional chunks of beef than thin slices. The presentation for the red snapper was beautiful. But I prefer a lighter batter. Overall it was pleasant experience.

Beautiful and Simple Interior with Delicious, and Authentic, and unique Thai dishes. The presentation for all the dishes my family and I had were just absolutely stunning. The service was great and our server Joey was very kind.

Although a very busy restaurant we were seated quickly, service was prompt, and the food was OUTSTANDING!! We had calamari very tender and flavorful, Red Snapper fillet with Thai curry sauce crispy yet delicate and South Thai lamb curry delicious. We would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for too-notch authentic cuisine that’s reasonably price.

We were told that the food is coming but we had to wait almost an hour before it had finally arrived. I've noticed that other customers were waiting as well. When the food had finally arrived, the only dish that was worth eating was the Twin Fish Spring Roll platter. It was crispy and I was able to taste all the elements. The rice cake was average though. The smoked shrimp paste fried rice was too oily and clumped. The thai red curry dish had too little meat and too little rice.

So this review is long overdue as I been here quite a few times and needless to say it is always a pleasure to eat here. We usually start off with a Mango Salad which is a staple I must recommend but ended up trying the Calamari Salad and boy was it a good choice. The salad is made up of Pacific squid tossed in red onions, green mango, sweet peppers, coriander, lime juice, mint leaves, chilli paste & a touch of sesame oil. The coriander, lime juice and mint leaves just wakes up the palate instantly….and very refreshing I might say. Next we ordered the Red Snapper Fillet with Basil Sauce……huge portions of red snapper fillets lightly coated with seasoned flour, fried and topped with tiger shrimp, fresh basil leaves, king mushrooms, and onions. The crunchiness of it is just wonderful. We also ordered the Thai Smoked Shrimp Paste Fried Rice which basically Jasmine rice stir fried with shrimp, squid, mussels, sautéed in garlic, & egg with smoked shrimp paste & green onions. I am asian so the smoked shrimp paste to me is something which I crave from time to time. The rice in itself can pass for a solo meal….like seriously. We also tried the Lemongrass Chicken…..tender chicken breast with grounded lemongrass, garlic, fresh chili, red & green peppers & onions. This dish goes well with just plain steam white rice, simply because of the sweet, tangy and very light spice on it…..the aroma is just delightful. And of course, one cannot do without ordering their Pad Thai….which we always order with chicken. For dessert, we always order the Mango Sticky Rice as this always cleanses the palate after…..nothing like refreshing slices of mango topped on top of black glutinous rice, drizzled with generous amounts of slightly sweet coconut milk. Staff is super friendly, accommodating and very knowledgeable….they always suggest what dishes go well with others. Always a delight to eat here.  5 out of 5 stars for this restaurant!

Great service, ambience was pleasant. Food was good, enjoyed the recommendations of Thai green curry, was a bit spicy for me but flavourful. The snapper in basil was amazing - enjoyed the sauce was yum I felt the fish had a bit too much coating but that sauce was delicious Overall good food, experience and would definitely visit again. Authentic Thai food that is extremely popular with the locals and surrounding businesses. Servers are friendly and attentive. Food is really good and tasty and comes in generous portions. Green curry is spicy!

Ordered the smoked fried rice and the Vietnamese spring roll and they tasted really. The food portion are enough for two to share. The restaurant looks really nice and clean for dining in.Recommended dishes
