I've been going to the TCPC for a year and have gotten zero relief from the multiple injections in my spine, including a radio frequency ablation. The only relief has come from pain medication, which I keep telling them I want off of. I recently received an EOB from my insurance company stating I owe 100% of my bill for 2 radio frequency workups and the radio frequency ablation procedure - grand total was over $20,000. I was told by my insurance company the Twin Cities Pain Clinic was in network but the Twin Cities Pain Clinic Surgery Center was OUT OF NETWORK!! Seriously? Why would Austin refer me there without even giving me a choice to have the procedures done elsewhere, in network? I called the business office to question this as I was, of course, very upset with a $20k bill on my hands! I said it was unethical and whomever I spoke to agreed and said she would reverse the charges. That's the only thing done right at this clinic, in my experience! I've since had a second opinion at the UofM. The TCPC misdiagnosed me from the beginning. Any and all of their treatments didn't address or help my back issues!

Don’t ever go too this place they lie. They make up lies too get you out of there office. This place is the worst place ever too go too. The people here lie about your medication and make up lies about you.

I have been on opioid medicine with my family doctor for over 10 years and I am so tired of the constant pill and pain so I started seeing surgeons and pain management doctors for alternatives I have had 500+ surgeries and procedures and now I got the interthetcal pain pump in my spine so I eventually will not be taking any opioid medicine and messing up my head and I will be there for more active in my life it goes straight to my pain

Very nice folks. They really seem to care about your comfort level. That's really a good thing for a pain clinic! Aimee is very nice to talk to and I feel she really listens to your concerns and issues. All the staff get an A+ in my book. My only complaint is that they won't let me have that really groovy carpet in the lobby!!!

I was not happy from day one. No help at all. People telling me I have a drug seeking behavior. I went there for PT and a spinal cord stimulator trial. They told me they could maybe help if I would do six PT appointments, so did it. Meanwhile I was in so much pain I was taking ibuprofen for pain relief while switching between Tylenol and the Ibuprofen. I have a history of bleeding stomach ulcers and heart disease. Not good for either taking Ibuprofen but I did it to show them I didn't care about Narcotic pain meds. Well after throwing up blood and blood in my stools I did finish my PT. Went back and was told I needed a physiologic exam. Well by the time that got completed I ended up having to have a third stent placed. I went back to find out what next. They can do nothing for me for another year. Maple Grove had a doctor when I first went but after that never saw s doctor. Only could see Aimee, what a delightful woman. Go somewhere else. She never could find anything. I finished each task and she couldn't find the report. It disturbs me that they can take money from me and my insurance company for doing nothing. My primary care does more for me then this place save your time and money.
