Dr. Richard J. Morris, MD

Dr. Richard Morris is knowledgeable, kind and caring. My regular PCP is great, but her availability, like many in the Northern VA area, is limited. When I broke out in a severe rash post-surgery and couldn’t get an appointment for several days, I got a next day at Novacare down the block. To be honest I wasn’t expecting much — maybe a quick prescription and on my way. I could tell, immediately, that Dr. Morris was turning over all possibilities in his head. He explained things to me and wrote three prescriptions that would work together. Most important, he didn’t prescribe the usual oral medication because it could have inhibited healing of incisions. Then he told me what to expect and what developments would require a trip to the ER. That didn’t happen, thank goodness. In short, Dr. Morris is highly recommended.
