Love Tuscan Moon Grill! My steak was perfectly seasoned and cooked as I ordered. The crab cakes appetizer were delicious and the Lemon Drop Martini was great! The staff are amazing and very friendly! If you ever get a chance to dine at Tuscan Moon Grill do it. It is very much worth the drive to Kalona. Parking: Plenty of parking!
Waitress was very nice. Live music was good. Chicken Marsala is my go to entree when I go out but seemed lacking in the Marsala flavor. We sat in the outside patio area. Nice quaint town.
What a quaint and lovely and delicious spot for dinner. Only 15 minutes from the Riverside Casino, this gem what a huge find for us. The food is upscale and yet affordable. My ribeye pork entree was so juicy and tender and the cabbage and bacon side was a game changer. The wine list had good range and option and the atmosphere was cozy, warm and had tons of charm in this small Amish village restaurant. Come as you are or for fancy dress night and you will Fit right in. The patio are also looks promising but it was too Cold when we visited.
We have been enjoying this resturant for more then 10 years. Food is outstanding! The wine selection is second to none. Really the owners have made this an experience, the staff is always the best, friendly, helpful and happy. The wine paring dinners always sell out and are worth the time. You can expect to try Food that you normally wouldn't see on menus during the wine pairings. Tuscan Moon is always top on our list.

Went here with no reservation for dinner. The only thing I didn't like was that there was not a simple roasted chicken meal on the menu. The house salad was amazing, the steamed veggies garlic buttery perfection, and the lemon cream cake was light and moist. Beautiful old building and atmosphere.
I ordered the Patty Melt when asked how would I like it I said well done. Turns I got it as medium, inside was still pink. My friend ordered something and there was a hair in it as soon as she got it. They took it off the bill at leastFood: 3/5
I loved the Tuscan Moon Grill on Fifth. Outstanding service and meal! The Tuscan Moon has the best wine selection I’ve seen at any restaurant in Iowa. All of the staff were very personable, courteous, and helpful. I highly recommend the Tuscan Moon Grill on Fifth for any special occasions or just a night out with that special someone! The picture is of their 18oz Ribeye, sautéed mushrooms, sautéed cabbage with bacon, and roasted potatoes.
Special for the evening was blackened Salmon and it was delicious. Others ordered the pork and said it was so soft to cut and delicious also.Food: 5/5
We drive down from Iowa City. Very good food and service. The owner was going around checking on tables. Would definitely recommend
