The food was amazing, great presentation and great flavor. The staff was very friendly and spoke great English. They recommended us some great wines to go with the food. The cherry on top was that it was all very reasonably priced. We had a super dinner for the price of your average tourist trap, we had a 3 course meal with accompanying wine for under €50 per person. I would definitely go here when in Prague!
Absolutely best restaurant in Prague!!! Delicious food, great prices and exquisite service! They even catered to a gluten and lactose allergie with a special off menu dessert! I will definitely visit again!
I would’ve loved to give 5 stars but there were some things not good: my dishes were really excellent, the wine was simply amazing, the interior is super nice, BUT: the main course of my partner was hugely oversalted we had to tell the waiter, he did not ask how it was which I expect in a restaurant like that and the water bottles had plenty of limestone I hope it was just that on them. Complaining of high level would be that the portions were too big almost. Overall I’d recommend though!
Amazing food & service, amazing quality for the price! sat at the chef's table, was enjoyable to watch the kitchen work. Slightly out of central Prague, but easy enough to get to via taxi 10minsand well worth it, would be my top recommendation for a meal in Prague.
Love seeing chefs cooking in front of me. The food and the service was amazing. I really enjoyed all the appetizers that we orders. I will definitely go back and really enjoyed our dinner.
Loved the food here, the heart was cooked to perfection. The experience was fantastic and the staff were perfect. The rabbit was on the dry side but the dish had great flavours and textures. Thanks team!Food: 5/5
Very nice restaurant, interesting tastes, good service. We chose to seat on the bar just to see all the action - the food is prepared in front of customers by 4-5 men. It was interesting experience, loved watch chief making some exercises/dancing in between meticulously reviewing dishes:
Appetizer was great carp carpaccio and I was excited about the main dish to come. Unfortunately the trout was over cooked and dry! My friend had the same meal and said “nothing I could not cook better myself “ We only tried lunch and maybe dinner is much better but we had high expectations and we got super disappointed! Czech white wine we chose was also a disappointment… Service was excellent and desert was great as well.
I was visiting Prague from London and had an excellent lunch at The Eatery. I sat at the chefs table and enjoyed watching the chefs methodically work away with precision and care tasting every item they cook. I had the duck dish for lunch which was exceptionally flavoured with a star anise/five spice sauce that had an excellent shine to it. The potatoes were well executed and had a buttery burst to them, which paired really well with the red cabbage and the perfectly cooked duck. The dessert was a fun play on a chocolate cake, tasted everything like a cake but without any elements of a cake. The caramelised bananas were delicious. Overall excellent lunch, great service, exceptional value for money and lovely experience overall at the chefs table. My best meal in Prague for sure
Sooooo delicious! I was tempted to say that choosing a pumpkin soup is a bit sad… when I saw all those fancy starters being prepared in the open kitchen. But I have to admit this the best pumpkin soup ever… and I am a soup girl for sure. But then…. This was followed by the fish! And I can tell you… this was just beyond expectations. The kitchen is perfectly organized, even a Green Egg BBQ is integrated. A well being chilly atmosphere is created by super thoughtful and attentive people. We could sit hours with you! Thank you The Eatery team for this wonderful evening with you. You really spoiled us and your hard work we can imagine how many hours you spent to prepare for the final prep was extremely much appreciated. We are so lucky that we could reserve a table to literally come back asap :-
