Just ran through here recently and it was very nice. Soft trails but the surface is good for running, scenic and shaded made it great. Not sure if this is a regular thing because I'm not from around here, but there are goats in an enclosure here so that was fun to see too. Also saw deer, turtles, a wild turkey, and ducks. Would recommend this
Great hike with beautiful forest and lake views. 3 levels of difficulty make it accessible for most hikers. I did the "difficult" trail, which is less than two miles and mostly flat. Trails are unpaved.
This hiking retreat is a great place for a hike solo.. or with friends. During our hiking visit.. we were sent in the goat detour trail tour.. I think we made 40 4 legged friends today LOL Trails are well marked and groomed.. I would suggest you don't going down the trails too late.. because there's no path lights etc.. for 1st timers, that don't remember their way back easily yet
Another nice local hiking spot. Makes you feel like you’re not even in the city anymore.Visited onWeekdayWait timeNo waitReservation recommendedNoPrice for adult entryFree
Very scenic and nice place to run year round. For the people complaining that it’s not “plowed” in the winter, it’s a cross country ski trail. It’s not supposed to be “plowed” for you to walk.
Beautiful wooded trails, one along lake, with Capitol views. Dog-friendliness: Dogs must be leashed but there are great trails for dogs to explore.
This is a great park with amazing trails through the woods. The goats grazing are adorable, and my new best friends. The beaches are super nice too. Definitely a spot to visit.
Great hidden jem...we go here often.. Well maintained and vast Highly recommend
Not dog friendly! Two stars because I didn't actually get to walk through. Looked up dog trails on Google Maps. This park came up and had dogs in photos in the park. The first sign that you see entering the park "No Dogs"!
Loved the wild flowers, paths, and being able to relax by the water
