Family owned and operated since 1979, located on Crotch Lake.

Reservations cannot be made through Facebook, please do so by phone or email.

Story

We're a family fishing resort with just over 30 housekeeping units available. Accommodations range from one bedroom to four bedroom, all of which have kitchens, one or two bathrooms, bbq and yard with a fireplace. Some cottages also have dishwashers and indoor fireplaces.

We also have docking available and boat rentals.

Wow, if you want to find a little bit of paradise, this is the place. From the first view of the lake, we were hooked! Our family rented 2 cottages and they were marvelous! The area has a almost private lake atmosphere. We did not bring a boat, but luckily for us the owners have many boats available to rent for a very reasonable price. Speaking of owners they were absolutely phenomenal to work with! The staff are equally great to deal with. Location:9/10 Cottage: 10/10 Staff: 10/10 Date of stay: May 2022

My family and I have been coming to Tumblehome for over 25 years. As a kid it was a great place to spend with all my cousins, fishing, swimming and playing flashlight tag around camp. As an adult it’s a great place to unplug and continue to make memories with my family. The beauty of the lake is unbeatable and still gets me every year. It’s my favorite week of the whole year. We’ve made lifelong friends and now the next generation of our family gets to fall in love with it.
I highly recommend Tumblehome Lodge to anyone. The lake is beautiful, the cabins are clean and have everything you need, and the staff were always friendly and helpful. Also the bass fishing is awesome. Thoroughly enjoyed my stay.

If you ever want a place to vacation with your family this is the place to go! The new owners George and Sue and their family are awesome! They are so family oriented and are so friendly! The cabins are fantastic and it doesn't matter what cabin you choose they are super clean and all have a screened in porch! The beach is amazing for the young and old to enjoy,playground for the kids and my daughters favourite this year was they had a movie night outside and not only was the movie great the view out on the water was beautiful and Sue brought treats out for all that came!! Another favourite is the store my daughter made sure every morning there she was at the store to get her treat for 8am opening!! Too much to say just if you get the chance stay at this lodge!! Tumblehome was perfect for my boys and I! The family that owns it and staff that work there are beyond kind and helpful with anything we needed. Our cottage was clean and spacious with the essentials you'd expect. The swimming area with a beach is large and there's a little Island that is close enough for kids to swim to and explore. There are a couple beaches for families to also enjoy nearby. We never got "skunked" fishing and we went at least once a day. Whether you are going on a fishing trip with the guys or a family vacation I would absolutely recommend Tumblehome to anyone!

Excellent family owned and operated facility! Been coming here for years to access interior campsites through North Frontenac Parks. They have clean and well appointed cabins for rent, a well stocked general store, great boat launch with very fair prices, and helpful staff. I needed a tow from a remote site following my boat hitting a rock and they sprung into action! Lots of praise for Tumblehome!
I have been going to Tumblehome once or twice a year for almost fifteen years for the fishing. If the owner Ward was not such a good guy, I would not write this review because this place is a hidden gem. There are only two lodges on the very southern tip of the lake, and the rest of the lake is undeveloped-Canadian-shield-lake beauty. Go to Google maps and check it out if you don't believe me. The hospitality is as good as the fishing, and you should do yourself a favor and spend a week or weekend here and enjoy the beauty of the outdoors and some great fishing.
