I had the Tuck Royale combo to go. The burger is small but filling. The meat pattie is juicy and the bacon is smoky and crispy. The bun is also good. The fries are delicious and my favorite part of the meal. I wish the bun and overall burger was a bit wider and not as tall. It was really hard to eat but tasty nonetheless. There's not really a vibe as it's more of a takeout joint but there's plenty of space to sit and wait for your order.
The Sweet Mama’s Chicken Sandwich is literally one of my favourite sandwiches! It always hits the spot and the ingredients pair so well together. I love that they have a location on either sides of the city too.Recommended dishesSweet Mama's Chicken
I had the burger which was really good. It was perfect. My partner had the chicken sandwich. We thought it'd be a warm chicken sandwich but it was cold chicken which threw me off at first but it was one of the best sandwiches I've had in a while. Definitely recommend.Food: 5/5
Great lunch at the end of the Rail Path. I have a client nearby, so I stopped by for lunch. Great burger, I got the Tuck Royale, and killer fries. The French fries are like McDonalds in form factor but seasoned crazy well. The burger was juicy but also crunchy in the right ways, and it had a bit of heat! Good to see someone in Toronto still pushing the limit of burgers without trying to blow the price out of the water. 10/10 would recommend. Great service too, I went by at 2 o’clock on a Sunny Thursday afternoon.
3.5 Stars: so I got the chicken burger, which is more of a chicken salad sandwich than a "warm" burger. For a cold sandwich, I personally much prefer a thinner bread than the thick burger bun, but otherwise the insides were pretty good. Would love to try the main attractions of the menu but they mix all their meat patties with pork so that’s a no no. Great fries tho!
Great spot for a juicy burger and skinny fries. Good topping options and nice soft buns. Order ahead online to save time waiting at the window. Vegetarian options: Beyond meat burger Kid-friendliness: Picnic tables outdoor seating only
Great burgers and fries with a few picnic benches to sit. Visit during good weather or plan to pick up and eat at home. The bacon is amazing!Food: 5/5
I got the Chicken sandwich. All I can say is don't believe the hype. It was OK. But just OK. $15 just for a chicken burger I would expect something better than what I make at home for a quick weeknight meal. Definitely not worth it in the slightest!!Food: 2/5
This is the best place for anyone who has a sandwich craving. The pesto club is something else. Perfect combination of spices, turkey, pesto. Amazing fries. Always super fresh! Great job Tuck Shop!Food: 5/5
The Tuckshop Kitchen is a great spot for fresh BBQ in the Dupont Area of Toronto. They have a selection of burgers, brisket, ribs and fresh bacon among other options, all made fresh to order. If you're lucky enough to get the brisket that day before its sold out, its very moist and delicious if you eat it right away! Even after taking some home for lunch the next day it was still flavorful, but not as moist and juicy as same-day. They have a smoker and flatop grill and a cute patio outside if you want to eat in person. Overall great service.
