TruStone Financial Federal Credit Union

This is the worst, most incompetent and cold bunch of people one could ever encounter in any business transaction! The Highland Park TruStone Branch completely deserves its many ratings of 1 and 2 stars it has received on YELP. This is the most incompetent, unfriendly branch of TruStone, which is saying a lot. These folks have no idea what the idea of customer service is and could care less about their customers.

Friendly staff, but if you are looking to take a loan , credit card, secure loan or any financial support don't open an account or apply for loan with Truestone because most likely they denied it or will be highly interest rate. I had an account with them for more than a year with no loan, I applied for a small loan , my credit score was average with full time job, my monthly income almost 2 times more than the amount I applied for , after 3 days I got reply that they prefer a secure loan and asked about my vehicle details , then after 2 days denied it again because my vehicle wasn't good enough for them. The next day I applied with another credit union and next day proved the amount I wanted as unsecure loan with less interest 9.99%. So I closed my account with True Stone . Note : the staff are very friendly but they can't make decision that support you , they can open accounts, close accounts , take applications only .

I'm so glad I opened my accounts here. Any time I have a problem or need anything I just call or email them and they do their best to accommodate me. I especially appreciate Alyssa who works here. She is great and truly goes above an beyond to help me out. I appreciate everyone who works here.
