Main Moon Chinese Restaurant

This place is great! My boyfriend and I love to get the pepper stake & onion combo and the general tsos combo. We get a nice amount FOR around $30 to $40. It's great for families as it fills your stomach and tastes so good. They even have the Ramune drinks, among others. Things like Fries and Ribs aren't that common at main moon restaurants. This one doesn't sell fries, but one does somewhere. The ribs are also better with the sauce. Some food is best when you don't change the way it's made. I recommend going!!

Second time getting from here and same plus new issues. Mongolian chicken was just some chicken with a thick sliced white onion; not what Mongolian chicken is. Told me ten minutes, took 30. $30 for below average food and service. I’ll find a different spot.nnOriginal 4 star review below:nnSolid little Chinese spot. Just moved here and I eat Chinese every week. Got a variety of stuff to test it all out. Here’s a break down:nnEgg rolls - 3/5nWonton Soup - 5/5nCrab Rangoon - 5/5nLo Mien - 4/5 - would’ve been 5/5 but ordered pork and it wasn’tnSzechuan beef - 2/5 - chewy and over saucednFried rice side - 1/5 - not fried rice, it’s just yellow. No egg, no veggies.nnI’ll give it one more try, hoping it’s better next time

This visit, I was so disappointed. My ribs were burnt. They had to see the burned up ribs because I asked for ribs with no sauce. Instead of 3 rice, I got 3 fries - all burnt - even visibly. The other dishes seemed ok. The area of the restaurant was shockingly dilapidated-extremely dilapidated, huge pot holes and all. I called to tell them, they were awkwardly silent. I said thank you and good bye- I won't be back.

Had an urge for Asian food for lunch and Main Moon was convenient. There aren't a large number of Asian food places so we gave it a shot. Main Moon is a take out or eat in eatery. But it has no bathroom so I'm guessing the code compliance inspectors are giving them a pass. Huge menu with a huge luncheon menu as well. Ordered Gen Tso, shrimp lo Main and crab Rangoon. Food was ready in 5min. Brought it home where it was still very hot. Gen Tso was a large portion but not at all spicy. Fried rice had a load of saffron but not much else. The shrimp was ok.nNot a great meal but far from a bad one. I would keep trying for a better meal.nThe counter person could be a bit more welcoming. Her skowling frown was a bummer.

Great location. Good food and good service I have not had any issues with this place . Lots of items to choose from. And the people there are friendly I do recommend.
