ive said this before, and ill say it again - tru tea is hands down the best bbt chain! all their drinks are handcrafted, made to order & each drink is customized to your liking. service is always friendly, drinks are always tasty!Food: 5/5
These bubble teas were so good. Give them try. Alen was so cool . Never thought that i would be writing a review about a bubble tea place but i could not be stopped. I tend to love bubble tea and always get the boring flavour of chocolate. At most places the flavour is nearly non existent and they include about 5 tapioca balls. The flavour was great and actually tasted like chocolate. It was great at there was so much tapioca in a sense there was to much. The drink is really a bang for a buck and I highly recommend that you visit this location.
So I’m usually a Iced Capp kinda guy but their name seemed catchy so we decided to try it out. The staff was super friendly and helped us pick out drinks based on our preferences. I wish they had substitute for dairy but they have a good variety of non-dairy teas. We got the Lychee dragon green tea and a Oreo Galaxy Creme, both with tapiocas. Let me tell you, O M G, they were so good!! If I was a kid and there was a TRU tea rather than McDonald’s, I’d have this over McFlurries any day! Can’t wait to try other items from their menu!
Great little store. No seating, so I assume its expected to grab and go. They do have a little standing area with a table, but a little to tall for kids. The taste was alright, and they have an interesting menu. The drinks look pretty cool.
I am impressed with this new bubble tea that just opened. Down the Mimico area. They’re a little more unique. I ordered the true tea snow cap series and it came with whipped cream. I love whipped cream. Mmmmm…. They have various selections so I’ll be sure to taste different kinds. The location is pretty cozy and clean. There’s a limit of 5 people allowed in the store. It’s best to walk to the location because parking will be challenging. Staffs are friendly, and they even have a cute little handwritten Google review request. Take out is doable since they have a bag with a cute little holder.
Got their Oreo Galaxy Creme R $6.95 and Strawberry Cake Creme R $6.95. The oreo drink was really good, good milky flavour and lots of oreo crumbles and thick cream layers. Super decadent. I didn’t try the strawberry but apparently it was good, thick and creamy with strawberry puree and cream. I deducted one star because we got tapioca in both drinks and it was overcooked and a bit mushy. Otherwise they have really good drinks but I think their highlight is the cake creme series. Prices are also super reasonable for the drinks. I’ve gotten inferior bbt for $10 before so a drink as decadent as the cake creme series being only $8 incl tax and tapioca is really nice. I would go again and recommend them to others.
New favourite bubble tea spot. Got mango volcano with tapioca and it was just perfect. Perfect consistency and perfect tapioca, clean store with fast and friendly service. Will come back for more. Keep up great service and teas. Cheers
This and other tru tea’s are great minus their preparation. I’ve been to a couple now where they don’t have the tapioca ready at the beginning of the day. Kinda weird cause most food places schedule staff early to prep things. I also don’t understand the pricing haha I was charged .50 for tapioca on one drink and .90 on the other. I noticed and told the rep, she did give me back the change which I was grateful for. I may give them another chance but like a few other reviews say…..there are a good amount of other bubble tea spots that are worth my money.
I tried the grapefruit slush with trupioca their low-calorie/healthier alternative to tapioca and I loved it! It was so refreshing and not too sweet. They have an amazing selection of unique drinks. You can tell that they put a lot of thought into the preparation of the menu. All in all, amazing experience!
To be honest, the drinks here are good. However, their service kinda disappointed me. I ordered 7 drinks but just gave us 3 draws, we were upset but we didnt want refund, just wanna remind them next time to put straws in. They replied our phone call and told us to order 1 more drink then they will give us 7 draws. Actually, we just want to remind you and hear your apology because who sell bubble tea with tapioca without draw? That's a killer.
