Tropical Sweets Cafe & Bar

Went and had lunch at Tropical Sweets today. Loved the decor, the tropical motif on the walls and the cozy corner with a retro swing. A great hangout with friends. We ordered the Traditional Waffle, Tacos and the Brownies. Delicious! The traditional Waffles were thick and tasty. On top of the Waffles was crunchy chicken, avocado and sauce. The tacos were amazing! The Mexican brownie was delicious! It was a plate full of flavor, brownies, ice cream and cinnamon chip..yum!

Food and service was absolute great. I consider this place to be my go-to latin restaurant because of the variety of food they have! Everything also tasted perfect and the drinks were great. The staff are super friendly and ensured that everything was great quality! I’d recommend trying EVERYTHING! The environment is so comforting and this is one of the only places I’d consider showing new timers, family and friends. Will always be back!

I’m speechless!! I came here tonight and WOW. It is SOOO delicious!!!! Fresh, extremely authentic and made with passion and love you can tell!. The prices are SOO good too. The owners are incredibly sweet and the type of people you want to support in this community!! I’m so happy to have this amazing restaurant super close to my house and part of my neighbourhood. I can’t wait to try everything on the menu because literally everything looks and sounds so incredible. It is quite the perfect mix of Columbian and Mexican cuisine. I am seriously already planning my next visit!

Phenomenal price to value ratio. Arepas were fricken delicious. The chicken especially. Plus, they've got a really nice aesthetic going on.
