Toast moves into a spot that has had a few tenants over the years. It's a challenging spot because parking is sparse. They are in the south side of Jasper Avenue just up from the promenade above Victoria Golf Course. The space is simple. Clean with a modern vibe. It's not a gigantic space but they have arranged things well. The food is extremely generous. It's also extremely pleasing visually. It's probably going to strike a chord with many. It is delicious but the dishes we picked seemed to have a little too much going on. For example I was hoping for something a bit simpler for the avocado toast but it had a very bright acidic topping to it. Anyways, it is good food and fresh. And the service was very cheerful and helpful. Timing on the food was great. Overall... 4 x
You can do no wrong selecting Toast for your go to brunch place. They were quite receptive and accommodating of our baby stroller and there is more than ample parking out front on the weekends and on the side streets on the weekdays. Coat hanger is available at the front and under the table for the bar chairs. I ordered the Culture Breakfast with the sausage. Eggs were perfect and the sausage seasoned optimally. Potatoes were also grilled nicely without being too cooked.
Nice trendy restaurant. My wife and I went for a Sunday brunch date. Great coffee and customer service. The chicken curry wrap was good. The truffle potato pizza was also good, but lacks a bit of the extra flavour that I was hoping for. Otherwise, the decor is very trendy and modern. Will visit again!
Always so good! Great staff all around. But truly, this cold Thai noodle salad…I dream about it. Super Fresh and so much flavour. A yummy in house made Thai cashew dressing with cucumbers, peppers, carrots, onions, pea shoots & avocado!! It’s not best photo but it tastes amazing! Hubby loves their pizza!
I had a wonderful experience at Toast. I found the food delicious and great portion for the price point. Our server was friendly.
Incredible place to have a top-notch meal. My husband and I went there for brunch. By the end of our brunch, we ordered from their lunch menu to go. We couldn't resist trying another outstanding meal. Staff was friendly and welcoming. Very relaxed place. It's worth the trip Our new favorite place!Food: 5/5
The cutest breakfast place I've seen in a while! Great atmosphere, great service ,and GREAT FOOD. I was pleasantly surprised with the size and the flavor of my breakfast. Definitely would recommend checking it out
Food is always delicious and staff are welcoming. Though parking in the area can get tricky during busier hours, it’s worth checking out! Great spot for casual eats, love their pizza especially.
Have been for brunch on a few occasions - decent menu with various options. Friendly staff - recommend reserving as they are often busy on weekends. Unfortunately, online reservations are not an option, you'll need to call which is quite inconvenient.
I been wanting to try this place for awhile since I live a block away and when i finally did it was a huge disappointment. I ordered the Cultured Breakfast which included 2 poached eggs topped with hollandaise sauce… Im not sure what kind of hollandaise sauce was put on my food but it spoiled the whole plate - it had too much acidity, tasted almost rancid. Couldn’t even finish it. Other than the acidic hollandaise sauce, the only flavour this plate had was the fennel sausage Also service was subpar - My server wasn’t really welcoming and I was seated before the guy next to me and ordered before him but managed to get my food way after him.
