Trillium Resort & Spa

Overall venue was great. Excellent staff and service. Rooms were decent. Beach was excellent. Kids had lots of fun. Food was great. Only issue was the bugs. Lots of mosquitos and black flies.

In my job field I see many venues and eat a lot of different food. I feel in love with Trillium Resort my first time I ever came to a wedding there. the food by Chef Joe was amazing, and the staff are easy to work with. I decided to take my wife away for a getaway and Trillium was one of my first choices. The venue is so much what you need once in a while in life. Yes the Wifi is not the best but we all need a retreat once in a while from life. My wife feel in love with Trillium and wants to go up again and it was just over a month ago I was there. We stayed in one of the Lake view Cabins and the rooms were amazing. It has a full kitchen two rooms, fireplace and many other things you would have. Free Breakfast and Dinner as well came with the package I took. If you need a beautiful retreat away and want to enjoy the beautiful grounds of being in the outdoors, then Trillium is a place you need to go to.

Scenery is nice and the atmosphere inside the resort is cozy but there's much to be said regarding the management and their 'rules'. Additionally their accommodation prices are very high and are based per person rather than per room. Our friends paid for an open bar at their wedding but the venue did not allow for shots or doubles and the staff were instructed to pour half shots in the mixed drinks. Upon sharing my review on Facebook and feedback regarding the bizzare bar restrictions I was dismissed; they even took it as an opportunity to pat themselves on the back for a job well done. (originally a 2 star rating but lost a star for being full of it) I caution anyone considering booking with this venue to take into account that if you have any issues or concerns, it will be met with complete denial. I would never trust these people with my wedding.

Beautiful resort for some R & R, prepared to be unplugged as limited reception in cell network for Data and wifi is slow and inconsistent. Lake is beautiful. Trails for hiking only. No AC in cabins.

I went here for a wedding and it was awfull, the bedroom door to our cabin wouldn't close, the wifi was garbage and I couldn't get a signal anywhere, the food was terrible and over cooked, and had zero flavor and at the bar im pretty sure they were giving half shots for mixed drinks like other reviews have said. Totally over priced because they charged per individual not per room STAY AWAY!!!
