But what makes Les Tricoteuses truly special are the ladies who work there, especially Louise, Suzanne and Lis. I needed help finding a pattern for my first sweater, and they cheerfully guided my search online and in their store library, patiently explained different techniques and styles, and even helped me take measurements! So often yarn stores rush you out after your purchase; here, even just browsing, they treat you with the warmth of old friends. I only wish Les Tricoteuses was in my home neighborhood so I could visit more often. If you are a knitter visiting Montreal, definitely check this place out!
