The Abbotsford Lumber & Mining Company Inc. built this "arts and crafts" style bungalow in 1920 for B.C. timber baron J.O. Trethewey. The house has been restored to c.1925 and furnished through donations from a number of local families

"Trethewey House Heritage Site is a 1920s Craftsman-style heritage house and museum located near the former site of the Abbotsford Lumber Company mill. Built by Joseph Ogle "J.O."
