Not sure why it's such a low rating because my dinner experience was great.nnService was lovely from all the staff. They were all polite, professional and attentive.nnThe restaurant was nicely renovated and clean.nnFood were all generous in portion, great value and great taste. The oysters were fresh and amazing. The chicken skin was crispy. The pan fried noodles were good except the beef was a bit chewy. All the other dishes were great.
We were recommended and brought to this restaurant by some great old friends who live here in Aurora area. Since then we have been here over a dozen times for all different occasions.nThe dim sum is unbelievable well made fresh taste and very up to our taste and liking. The cooking is more Cantonese style and it has one of the greatest natural Cantonese cooking styled as well taste.nAttendants and managers are unbelievably experienced, friendly, attentive, and diligent. Understand quite a few have been in this industry for many year with tons of experiences.nnThe restaurant has cozy feeling since each table is quite spacious and enjoys certain privacy as the distances among the tables reasonably apart. The parking space is sufficient, as it is located in a shopping plaza.nAfter all, a nice restaurant and good news to the residents of Aurora area here who like dim sums and Cantonese style restaurant.nAnd the only way to find out the good is to come over and understand it for yourselves.. we live about one hour away and still come here.
This is one of the best Chinese restaurants in the Richmond Hill and Oak Ridges area. The price tag is relatively higher than others; but for the varity of Cantonese cuisines and shorter travel distance from the area to Markham, this is a undeniable choice. The BBQ pork rice at $7.99 is a deal. The roasted duck special in two eating styles at $28.88 $40 order requirement before the duck. It is also a cash deal. Pls have cash with you. is also a deal. The skin of the roasted duck is crunchy and filled with fragrance. The only shortcoming is many flies in the restaurant. The staff Eva is also cheerful and helpful. I recommend this restaurant.
So I recently tried this place out on a sunday for dim sum with my family.nnCurrently they are running some exciting promos like a deal for peking duck at $28.88 with a minimum of $40 spend dine-in and dungeness crab garlic lotus leaf rice for $32. Really good specials!nnThe dim sum itself was actually very, very solid! The siu mais were bigger than a lot of restos I've been to and there were some very unique dishes that you wouldn't find on a lunchtime dim sum menu.nnThe bbq pork pineapple bun was prolly the most disappointing item we ordered. The bun was actually kinda dry even though the filling was tasty. I've definitely had better.nnObviously because we ordered the peking duck, we weren't able to order as many dim sum to try so we will probably be back to try some of the other dim sums another time.
Great spot for dim sum. Portions were big and flavour was as expected. Happy to have a spot in north Richmond Hill. Will definitely return for dim sum and try dinner.
