I had the complete opposite experience with Travers. I called in an urgent need to clean up my wiring issues (some of which were as serious as a possible fire hazard in our upstairs crawl space) just before a looming appraisal date and I was assigned Joe. He was very efficient. Did an excellent estimate (which the end price did not change from original quote) and came out the next day, with an apprentice, and they both worked tirelessly and quickly all day and cleaned up their mess very well. 2 of the nicest guys. Super professional! I'm totally happy with everything they did and my price was very reasonable. I still need more work done and I would use them again.

I recently used Travers for an electrical issue I was having at my rental house. They told me that the issue was rats eating through the wires and that they would have to open up the drywall and rewire the whole house. They said it was a hazard as well. They also shared with my tenant that is was a hazard and that the house could catch on fire at any time. After the tenant heard that he did not feel safe and moved out a month early. Traver's suggested I get the rat problem fixed first and then have the wiring done. I hired a company to seal all areas in the crawl space and attic ($1,755). My loss on rent was $600. I then convinced an electrician that I have used on multiple jobs to take a look and give me his opinion. He said the electrician that Travers sent had not idea what he was talking about. There ended up being a wire that wasn't connected to the breaker panel. Once that wire was traced and secured the heaters worked with no problem. Some additional cleanup was done with separating circuits and I was good to go. I asked my electrician multiple times if there was ever a hazard and he assured me that there was not. Turns out the electrician from Travers was an apprentice. I am now out $2,350 just between the loss on rent and the clean up for the rats that were supposedly chewing through the wires. I called and spoke with the manager and asked what they were going to do to rectify this. The manager talked with the owner and they said they would not charge me for the service call. Are you kidding me?

I used their service a few months ago. They did not communicate at all what they were doing or how long it would take, they did not show up on time, and the wiring they did was not up to code and had to be redone. On top of that, they left a huge mess and left some wires exposed.

Worst experience i have EVER had! They Cant do the job right, cant show up or show up on time or even call you to let you know they wouldnt make it. Cant even call you back. Rude ignorant people!.... Ron & Shawn both . Absulutly terrible company! NEVER EVER WILL I GO TO THEM AGAIN! !!!! If i could pick 0 starts i would have.
