That day was during our marriage anniversary, so we decided to visit old Montreal and take a tour with a horse. That was a wonderful experience, and such a relaxing tour.

Wonderful experience. This is the best way to see Montreal. Slow pace allows you see the details of the buildings, take photos, clip clap of the hoofs is relaxing and pleasant. Commentary is interesting. The ride is bumpy on the cobblestone streets. We also did a bus tour and this ride was so much more pleasant.

It was fantastic! My daughters and I loved every moment of it. The driver was very nice, funny and knowledgeable. He was a very good guide and we learned a lot during that ride about the Old Montreal . He took a great care of the horse and it was obvious that he cared a lot about that animal. My kids were also happy to play with the dog that rides in that particular carriage. It was the best part of our visit to Montreal. :

If you care about animals and the treatment of them, do not give your money here. None of the Montreal horse and carriage businesses treat the horses with decency. This business is just not humain.. a horse died the other day.. on the street too... no matter what you say, you have to see the harm in this practice. Please find something better to do while visiting the city, we have other amazing activities

Tourists, please stop contributing to the abuse of these animals. In my 7 years of living here, horses have been hit by cars, fallen on metal grids placed on the street due to Montréals immense construction and recently died in the street. Absolutely heart wrenching. The streets of Montreal are no place for these majestic animals. I can’t wait to see this abusive practice cease.

No experience, it's cruel and barbaric. It was mandatory back in the days before the invention of cars, now we don't need that. It is not romantic, not pretty and the horses suffer! Watch the news! Don't pay for cruelty. They don't care about animals, all they want is money and at any price!

Cant even take care of the animals they own. This place is a business of death and scumbaggery.
