Amazing. This restaurant is a real Italian restaurant! All of the food tasted a lot better than my expectations. Tiramisu there is 28 years also recipe. The best tiramisu ever. The hospitality was so good. We are coming back soon!!
Absolutely delicious with every choice. From aperitif to digestive, T.S. Has everything covered. No detail is spared, everything is very authentic. The cocktails are enough to visit, but a meal here makes you leave so happy. Visited 7 years ago and this was our second time back. Will go back as many times as we visit Sheboygan!
A little torn about this one... Almost 5 atars but not quite. Mainly because I felt the menu was a tad limited. Service was excellent, appetizers were excellent, I had the halibut, which was very good. The tomato soup was kinda meh... Overall a good meal and I would return. Neat location.
Make sure to reserve ahead. The food is great. You can tell that the food was made in house and from scratch. I had the veal and it was cooked perfect. The environment was a bit crowded but not a major issue. The staff seemed to all know each other well and were very friendly. Parking: Parking is street only.
Trattoria Stefano is a VERY good Italian eatery if you ask me! The restaurant is very cozy and has a soft atmosphere to it that is just nice overall and is very clean and spacious inside and out! The service was grade A, friendly and very nice to talk to. The food was great on all ends! Started off with some bread and oil and this neat little raw beef dish with cheese lemon and veggies which was very delectable. My main dish was this scrumptious Veal chop dinner that came with this great Italian cheese noodle side, beats, and greens! I had some VERY good ricotta cheesecake which I forgot to take a picture of.. No complaints, I can see why it's one of the best restaurants in Sheboygan and will probably come here again in the future! Pictures are of the inside and outside of the Restaurant, menu and food, minus dessert!
Great food as always at any of Stefano’s restaurants! The only issue we had was with service. The waiter forgot about us a few times, and we had the same issue with him at Il Ritrovo. We heard the table next to us have a similar experience as well. If you can look over a few service errors, the meal is well worth it!
One of the best Italian options in the Midwest. Amazing, authentic food. Fresh ingredients prepared in simple and often quite interesting ways is the key. Much of the pasta is made in house. The wait staff is welcoming, fun and very knowledgeable. You would expect a place like this in a larger, urban environment. Not to be missed any time you're in or near Sheboygan. Absolutely worth the drive!
Stefano's is one of Wisconsin's best kept secrets and is worth a trip, in our case, from Chicago just for the authentic fresh and creative Italian fare. Let's talk about the menu...the ingredients are fresh and local, therefore the chefs are creating and recreating some amazing dishes. From appetizers to dessert, you can't miss! We have been there at least 15 times in the past year and have never been disappointed! The wait staff is knowledgeable, friendly, and attentive without being intrusive. They have homemade pastas, their fish and meat dishes are amazing - and although most ingredients are local, you can't beat their lovely imported burrata - and they have it! Vegetarians have a nice assortment to choose from as well. Stefano's also has great cocktails and a really nice wine list. It's a special place! Parking: Lots of it! Wheelchair accessibility: No stairs
This transported me back to Roma! Brandon recommended the chef’s special- it was marvelous- a chicken ragù with fresh pasta. When I see fresh sepia or cuttlefish on the menu, chances are I’ll order it-this was amazing. Glad I had the bread you have to try the bread because I was soaking up the sauce after every bite! The tiramisu was rich. Oh yes- order the cappuccino.
Honestly.. as restaurants go this is almost as good as it gets. We were in Sheboygan today to visit the two Kohler museums which were great, but I liked the new one a bit better, more content. Decided to give this place a try since the reviews were more than good. So.. For a restaurant I always look at things like bread. Oh my lord, bread brought out was fantastic. Crusty, delicious, fresh. All restaurants should serve good bread. Reminds me of great restaurant in Europe because of the bread. We had the meatball appetizer. I will say the meatballs were just a tiny bit dry, but the sauce more than made up for it. I had the special of the day, Porchetta Called Porketta in Northern MN. To die for... The crispy outside... and super flavor and sauce. It's not quite as spicey as the northern MN porketta, but full of flavor. I wanted to eat it all, but could not. Very generous serving portion. My wife had the Casarecce Della Nonna which was very delicious. Our server, August was amazing. Timed the dishes out to a T and always knew when to stop by to see if we needed anything. I will say.. it's not cheap. Prices are more on par with Chicago or Minneapolis, but the quality of the food and service exceeded what I've had in Minneapolis or Chicago. We will go back again. Sorry.. started to eat the Porchetta before I took a photo. But..
