Walked the lumber yard with Alex who helped my wife and I hand select lumber for our project. These guys are top notch and an absolute pleasure to deal with. Great quality cedar, not the stuff you find at big box stores.

It's worth the drive to Barrie. Only place to purchase the finest product including Douglas Fir and pressure treated lumber. They are better than going to Home Depot or Lowe's. At least they are a Canadian company NOT American. The money stays here which is good for jobs. Buy Canadian products first! Buy your lumber from Trans Canada Wood Products.nPurchased a Douglas Fir post for this overhang which had to blend with existing, it was placed onto an elevated saddle. This post will outlast any pressure treated lumber for many years.
