As a new resident of Québec I registered for francisation and got place in this school. After months of trying to learn French I have to say this location isn’t organized. They only have a few teachers and there are multi levels of French in one class so you will never get the full opportunity to learn at your level. I asked to be transferred to another school and they refused to transfer me even when I expressed I wanted a better French education. The excuse I was given was they just can’t transfer me. As a person who doesn’t get paid to learn French I feel it’s a waste of my time if I am not receiving the proper education and they refused my right to get transferred. Please pick another location who is better organized to provide the proper French learning. This experience for me was discouraging even though I did learn some French I know I should be learning more if I had a full time teacher for my level not just the teacher dividing their time to teach multiple levels.
I came here to learn French and it was not a good experience for me. They have to many levels in one class and we do not have enough time to actually learn French it gets very confusing.
Very good level in general
This school is truly the best! In just 2 months, I have made a lot of friends, good relationships with my teachers and I am progressing really well in my modules! I am very happy to be a student especially at this school. Also, regarding the teachers, Ms. Chantal Dionne, wow! She is a very good French teacher, very smiling, always welcoming, attentive and fair in her explanations. In maths, Ms. Suzie and the other teacher, Ms. Isabelle, I believe, explain their points of view very well in class with the calculations, but also, we make good, precise comments when there is an error. It's really impressive! As for guidance counselors, Mr. Maxime Labelle gives me good advice for my future DEP. And recently, the psychoeducator Ms. Judy McDuff and the director Ms. Nancy Groleau, are warm, friendly and well-liked. My opinion on this school would personally be 10/10. THANKS!
When I entered the Tremplin I didn't think I would be able to pass my DES. I had a lot of classes to do, the goal was colossal. But the teachers helped me a lot and they are so involved and dedicated to the success of their students, it’s crazy..! We must also highlight the guidance counselors who do excellent work and who are important cogs in the school. As well as management and staff at the secretariat.
