Totem Point Lodge

We've been coming to Totem Point for almost 7 years now. Rick and Lily are absolutely amazing hosts. They are kind, generous and truly love the property. A five star rating is not enough for the service and friendliness they offer. Their cottages are always clean and every year they invest in the cottages. The area in French river is great, you have access to an amazing fishery. Last year we ended up catching over 100 walleye over a few days in August. It was wild. Some of our group prefers to swim and spend time on the beach and totem offers that too. Their game room is nice large and well stocked with pool and and other games. All in all the owners have put a lot of love into the cottages and the area and it shows. Thanks Rick and Lilly you guys are amazing, wishing you more success!

A wonderful location on the French River. Rick and Lily are warm and accommodating hosts, and all the staff are very helpful, which made for a stress free fishing vacation. Our housekeeping cottage had a great view of the river, and was extremely clean and well equipped , including a BBQ. A great place to fish, and enjoy quality time with the family. When we weren't fishing, the Muskoka chairs located throughout the property, give me an additional opportunity to enjoy the fantastic view and a good book , while the rest of the family took advantage of the paddle boards or kayaks. We will definitely be back!

Excellent cottage experience! Everything from fried fish, camp fires every night, amazing lake to swim in with no weeds!!!! The owner even explained the different type of wood he dropped off and which would burn the longest and which would make the best crackling noise. This place is truly amazing and the cottages are equipped with everything you need. I’ll be returning with my partner, friends and even alone in the years to come!

Quiet, clean and extremely friendly atmosphere!! The company I work for does an annual fishing trip here!! The cabins were a bit out dated and the my shower head barely worked but added to that cabin experience, can’t wait to visit again 9.5/10.

Just stayed for 2 nights in October . Our heater in the cabin was broken so it got extremely cold at night. Fishing was extremely tough. It almost seemed like they were upset I brought my own boat and didn’t want to rent one of theirs. Plenty of dock space for their rentals but no room my personal boat. After arriving at the lodge, I mentioned I had never been there before and asked where the hot spots were or if there were any close. Got absolutely zero information from the guy at the desk or the dock hand. I don’t think I would go back . I would try another lodge as there is multiple lodges in the same area.

Owners and staff were very personable and helpful. Cabins were immaculate and cozy. The fishing was awesome. The lodge and property are well kept. Of course, we can’t forget the pristine beauty of the French River. One word to describe our visit PERFECT!Rooms: 5/5

Totem Point Lodge is a truly quaint jewel, tucked away on the beautiful French River. Such a scenic area to spend a holiday! If you love nature and you're looking for relaxation, maybe some great fishing, boating or hiking, you won't be disappointed here. The cabins are homey and super clean with great views of the River. The owners, Rick and Lily, are such friendly and accommodating hosts...lovely down to earth people. If you need any pointers on where to fish or where to go on the River, you can rely on Bruce and Henry as well...they're always there to lend a hand or share a laugh with. My husband and I really enjoyed our stay this year and plan to go back again next summer. Love this place!

Totem Point Lodge in Noelville offers an unforgettable experience and some of the most beautiful views in Canada. Richard and Lily are wonderful, hardworking hosts, and their staff are pleasant and helpful. Dinner service was excellent, I even saw Lily pick out some fresh herbs from her garden for our meals. This is a true Canadiana experience.

We stayed here for 4 nights. The owners were so accommodating, the decor was beautiful, and we purchased the American plan and had delicious home cooked meals it was my husbands first time fishing unfortunately we didn’t catch anything but they water was so beautiful - tons of great sight seeing opportunities. Will definitely be coming back and next time we’re bringing home some dinner!

Amazing experience here! I've been the last 3 years and the cabins are nice, the owners and staff are very friendly and helpful and the fishing is awesome with good prices. Would highly recommend a stay at Totem Point Lodge.
