I absolutely adore this place. Safe and very accommodating, even adjusted meals for dietary restrictions if you have any. Have stayed here multiple times and was never disappointed.

My wife and I stayed here for a week on our honeymoon. It's really an incredible place. We hiked all of the trails; we canoed; we were even dropped off at the Five Finger Rapids for an afternoon with a picnic basket to enjoy. The owner and innkeeper, Alex, goes out of his way to provide the utmost hospitality. The food and the rest of the staff are all top notch. I am not exaggerating. This place is incredible. We will definitely return one day!

My husband and I had our wedding at the lodge earlier this month, and every single person in attendance had a fantastic experience. The staff were friendly, attentive and accommodating. The food was so delicious (and the vegan options were incredible!). The cabins felt like home. We had the most amazing experience and look forward to celebrating future anniversaries on the French River with Alex & staff (and the dogs) in the years to come!! Thank you for such an incredible weekend.

We had a terrible mishap on the French River.  We were not staying at Pine Cove, just parking while we went back country camping along the river.  After losing our gear through the rapids, we came back to our vehicle early with everything completely soaked.  The owner Alex arranged for our clothes to be dried, so we could drive home comfortable at least.  He invited us to come into the bar and have a drink and grab something to eat even though the kitchen was closed at that time.  Very hospitable.  Very friendly.
This was also during the very busy Canada day long weekend, so he easily could have just ignored us. The place looks amazing.  I will definitely bring the family here for a weekend.  Thanks again.
