I went into total pet today and was given outstanding service. The employee was there all by herself trying to help three customers at once. She was amazing, easy to talk to, knew and was able to answer every question we asked. I wish I had her name as I want her to be commended for her help. 05-27-2022
Excellent customer service. Genuine caring staff. Very helpful. We asked all sorts of questions about our new puppy. They were very informative on the products they sell. We received "The 2021 New Pet Parent Guide" that will make sure we will be ready for our new fur baby when she arrives. Definitely recommend Total Pet.
Do not recommend! I was so excited to get a fish from there. Went in and put a couple on hold, and bought a tank. Came back when they were “ready” and was told to come back to next day. Came back to next day and the two fish I had put on whole were dead. Not their fault, I know, but still upsetting. I got a fish from Exotic Aquatic instead and went home to put it in the tank I had got from total pet only to realize it had a leak in it! Took it back to return it and they wouldn’t because I had put water in the tank. Buying my first fish was supposed to be a fun and exciting new thing and instead has be an awful and disappointing experience all while wasting a bunch of gas money. My advice, if you want nice fish, go to Ken at exotic aquatic. Update: Both the snails I bought from here are now dead as well. One of them was dead when I bought it, and I just didn’t know until it didn’t move for 2 days. I’m very upset and disappointed in this store. I will never go back here for any reason.
I had asked if the toys I bought lasted a long time, they told me they were great and didn’t get destroyed very easily and within five minutes my dog had ripped it open. I go in to let them know and if they might be able to do anything about it, they weren’t and that was fine just thought they should know but insisted that all dogs are different and there’s nothing they can do because all dogs are different.

Friendly staff. Large selection of everything. Will be returning for the bathmat and cat scratch. Store was clean and set up nice.
Not a good store the one Stuff was not nice and the one was nice and try to help but the stuff told her not to did not now what they had in store I have a autism son how was trying to talk with staff and she was mean with him and you could tell I was having a bad day will not spend a dime in there store total pet lost me and my kids will be going on line if I need something what a wast of my time and will be going to are local barn store and Walmart not to tolal pets
I was a dollar short this morning when I ran in to buy cat food. The lady working was super nice and covered the remainder. These are the the type of things that make me a return customer.
They have everything you'll need for your pet, plus they have animals to look at which is fun for kiddos. The staff were kind and helpful.
