Today was my first time in the store and the staff was extremely friendly and knowledgeable! I would highly recommend this store. I am new to owing a fish tank and couldn’t have ask for nicer people to help me out. Thanks I’ll be back soon!

Look, I’ve been in the saltwater hobby for many years. I was passionate on growing, propagating and maintaining corals and saltwater fish. I’m relatively intelligent and this is a great hobby for me to keep my brain happy. I moved to this area a few years ago and I was worried that there would be nobody around Belleville that would be knowledgeable about saltwater aquaria, corals or the details of this. I chanced upon Derek and Total Aquatics when it came time to add a gorgeous 400+ gallon saltwater aquarium to my dream surgery office in Belleville. Obviously, I was worried that things might not go well with this situation. You know what? Derek and his staff kept in contact with my contractors to make sure the setup was just right (read: amazing). This man knows his way around saltwater aquaria and - I’m sure - freshwater aquaria and reptiles alike. He isn’t some distant franchisee that takes his cues from a corporate office. He legitimately cares and has the knowledge to back it up. This business has unsurpassed customer care and knowledge unparalleled by anyone I’ve seen with regards to fish, corals, plants and aquaria. I haven’t been asked to provide a review for this business at all but, considering people’s reliance on the Internet and ratings, I think it’s important people appreciate the amazing qualities this business has to offer! I’ll vouch for him any day!

Best fish store near Kingston and Derrick Tyler and deb make you feel like family when you walk through the doors very clean great selection of products and if they don’t have it they will go out of there way to get it for you

Great place to buy fish plants and supplies. Staff very knowledgeable friendly and helpful always. If they don't have what you need just ask and they will get it for you.
