Despite a long drive home, we decided to find a place to eat that was different from the usual burger and fries. Ellena's Cafe & Pantry seemed to fit the bill. It is barely 3 minutes off Hwy 401 in the town of Greater Napanee. The cafe had the perfect vibe. I ordered a delicious curry wrap chickpeas with optional chicken and an excellent coffee while my travel partner had the roast beef sandwich and a locally made soda. Seating is in the back and the food was brought out to us. Excellent food and service and very fun looking at all the kitchen items for purchase. I bought 2 cans of the locally made soda and a felted trivet. Looking forward to dining here again soon!
Boyfriend and I have come here for takeout drinks London fog and today decided to dine in and try the food we split the Reuben and chicken pesto and both were AMAZING. Fresh, warm, and delicious! Worth the price 100%. The staff were also super friendly as always and the place felt so cozy and relaxing, we are going to make this a common outing place from now on. If people not from Napanee are to ask for recommendations this place is definitely on list!
If you ever go to Napanee stopping at Ellena’s is an absolute MUST. Fantastic atmosphere. Amazing sandwiches and the mushroom soup was to die for. We also had a dessert which we purchased earlier in the morning. Good thing because it was sold out when we got back there for our lunch. The ladies and gentleman were great to talk to and the gift shop had many different things. Love that it has the old charm appeal. Original flooring and exposed brick I think makes for a comfy atmosphere. Rave rave rave. Will definitely go back next girls weekend in Napanee!nFrom the LLLT GROUP Ladies Living Life Together.
You need to go. I had their chocolate latte - so good! Also tried the chocolate croissant and Boston cream croissant - amazing! Will definitely be going back. Their shop is so cute too. Lots of cute things for the kitchen.
Best cafe I have ever been too! Amazing food and super friendly service. I ate breakfast and loved it so much that I bought some take home items and they also blew me away. I would recommend to anyone passing through you need to take the extra time and stop here!
