Beautiful rooms, nice amenities and a great location. Staff is friendly and quick to fix any issues. Would stay again. The only awkward thing is self-parking, which requires driving to the other side of the stadium and is a pain if you miss your turn, but the elevator from the garage does go straight from the hotel parking area to the foyer. If you don’t want the hassle, pay the extra $ and get valet parking.
We end up booked one room and stayed at Marriott. The lady who checked me in was so nice and helpful! She checked me in at 11am which is unexpected. My two young kids are having a lot fun at the pool. The room is clean and spacious and the staff are very friendly. Great experience!Rooms: 5/5
I stayed at this hotel for a conference. I’ll start by saying the staff was attentive, kind, and patient. The hotel was extremely clean and cared for, my room and restroom was comfortable and clean. The location was perfect for our event and exploring the city. Absolutely worth it!Rooms: 5/5
Staff were not as welcoming or caring as they typically should be in any 3+ star hotels. Stayed for 2 nights and was not happy with quality of service. We had breakfast included in our stay and the restaurant staff were pretty much non-existent. Disclaimer: it was during the holiday season so I understand if staffing was an issue at the time. Also, not to mention the poor insulation between hotel room door and hallway, so we could hear everyone walking by and people in the room across from ours. Overall was not satisfied with my stay at this Marriott.
The king room I had was spacious but not clean. Their towels had stains in them and carpet had red wines spill stains. Type of stuff you get in a motel. Stayed two nights and their housekeeping didn't fill up the fixed soap containers in the showers. Their room phone wasn't working so had to call from my mobile to the reception to ask for soap. Also Their housekeeping didn't clean the table around the coffee maker and there were stains of coffee from the previous people that stayed. Best these issues everything else was fine. Walking distance to everything downtown. Staff was friendly too. Just bad cleanliness of the rooms.
The staff, hotel, and service are all some of the best I've come across. I travel often and this is my favorite hotel. Trevor at the front desk was especially great. Amazing advice on the city, helpful with the room, and looked out. Also, incredible view of the stadium. Absolutely will suggest this hotel to anyone coming to the Toronto area!
Great location. A walk away from everything downtown. It is also very close to the underground PATH making it easy to walk Downtown in the winter. The hotel itself is very good. While maintained. Rooms are modern with lots of space and a fridge.Rooms: 5/5
We were greeted nicely at check in. I booked the wrong type of room and she was able to find what I wanted and change our reservation. We stayed in a stadium view room and it was amazing. Got confusing from night to day because there was no window to the outside. Pull out couch seriously needs to have the mattress changed. Our toddler didn't mind but when we layed on it I could literally feel the springs pushing into my body and head. No microwave In the room but they brought one up when we asked. We were pretty annoyed that the hot tub was down as we select hotel based off of pool and hot tub. Pool could definitely use a make over. Really close to a lot. Walkability: 3 min walk to CN tower, Ripley's is also close and several restaurants Food & drinks: Restaurant in hotel was good but over priced
Very good condition and nicely renovated. Breakfast was great as well. Just 2 complaints 1. Try to get a south facing room as north facing room has go train noise. 2. They would not let you plug in your own streaming stick for some odd reasonRooms: 4/5
From the moment we pulled up to the valet till we put our bags back into the car to leave-The service and hotel quality over exceeded our expectations. All the staff-front desk, concierge, room attendants, waiters, valet and everyone we came across during our stay was extremely polite and very welcoming. Oh and the hotel itself was very spacious and clean. The pool and breakfast was excellent too. We really enjoyed our staycation and highly recommend this hotel. Thank you Marriot for an amazing stay!
