Wonderful and accommodating staff! Service exceptional! I’m giving a 5 star BUT keep in mind it’s a new hotel so still working out the kinks. In-suite coffee machine bit defective but the coffee shop downstairs is amazing with freshly baked goods. In-suite 24/7 food was convenient and surprisingly for late night meal delicious! Very impressed on the quality! Functionality of the room is very modern, an open concept with the sink in the room but it was very cool and different! Will definitely stay there again! Service above and beyond that’s for sure!
I love the look, vibe and experience at W properties so was naturally inclined to stay at the first W in Ontario. I highly recommend this hotel for people traveling with families. The front desk staff Priscilla along with the whenever/wherever team Curtis & Angelica, went above and beyond to make the stay memorable for my family. We celebrated a birthday here and they were so kind to give our children treats and make them feel special by giving them a card and decorating our room. Everyone from the valet to security team went out of their way to say hello and seemed genuinely happy to be there. The room was spacious, with comfortable beds and located right in the heart of Yorkville. We can’t wait to come back. In the sea of sameness that are hotels, W Toronto is a clear standout.
Excellent service and extremely helpful/ friendly staff. Audrey from the welcome team was the sweetest and very insightful about things to do and get around in Toronto. She was very accommodating and sympathetic to our airport nightmare by making our stay as comfortable and enjoyable as possible. The ambiance of the hotel and location cannot be beat! Highly recommend.
My review is for my visit to The Living Room Lounge located in the W Hotel. I came here for a few drinks with my co workers after work and the space was very nice, had comfy couches and was a good place to mingle with my colleagues. The service was good and the waitresses were friendly. My only complaint was the unreasonable price for a glass of wine. I understand this is a luxury hotel but I ordered ONE 5oz glass of Cab Sauv and when I asked for my bill, she said it was $50. I was shocked that it was $50 for a glass of wine and assumed it was a mistake. Her answer was that it was an expensive glass of wine. When I looked it up online, the average price for that bottle is $39.99. My advice is to check the prices before you order to avoid the bill shock! Otherwise, it was a very nice place.

Memorable experience for High Tea. Pros: extraordinary thought was put into the “make up box” theme. Edible lipstick! Fudge hand bag! Each bite was delectable! Most of the food was 5 STAR. Cons: the tea was served tepid. Ratio of water to bagged tea not loose was completely off. Bland. Scones did not taste fresh. Not warm. I suppose they added those as perfunctory. Overall, good experience but they could do better.
Since the renovations a couple years ago access to the building is easy. The rooms were clean and the front staff were helpful. I stayed with a corporate rate so I can't complain about the price either. Nice hotel for the value.Rooms: 5/5
Loved our stay at the W! The location is perfect, the aesthetic even better, everyone was so welcoming and caring. Room service was amazing, Freba was an angel. We stayed in one of the suits and it was very roomy with great views. Will most definitely be back.Rooms: 5/5
To be honest, I think their room is totally over priced. It's just like a motel. Service is Indian style. Picky and horrible. Nothing special. Not recommended for sure. Hope you can see my review. Good luck!Rooms: 3/5
I'm a local who has stayed at various W's around the world and the Toronto W looks amazing. Went in today to have breakfast with a friend at the Public School. It was great. But the highlight was getting a personal tour of the hotel by the GM, Craig. What a treat. This W is a great addition to the Toronto scene.Service: 5/5
